It’s definitely heading that way. I’d definitely steer clear of using already just to be safe. It’s yet to be made so because these things take time but in a few years, there’s no way liberal voices like the BBC will let it be thrown about in the way it is currently allowed. It’ll be deemed part of everyday hate speech such as white trash and other racist anti-white language which despite everyone playing down does still exist and isn’t excusable just because it might be less publicised. If you haven’t noticed the ever growing lexicon of what’s acceptable and what isn’t over time but especially in the age of social media then you’re being naive. I really have to disagree with point c. We (if I include myself as a Boomer for the sake of argument) were really concerned. We used to have earnest discussions about the 'ecosphere' (as we used to call the overall environment), we were worried about intensive farming and the use of pesticides such as DDT. And we were REALLY worried about pollution.

That's not everybody obviously, some were just happy to live in the supermarket society, but the idea that no one cared about the environment (or did anything about it) until about 1990 is total bollocks. (Not that you're saying that, but in these discussions it's often implied if not actually stated). And no we didn't do anything specific about climate change, but then the Victorians weren't that hot on Gay Rights either. Each generation deals with what it thinks is wrong and tries to change it.

I think you've just confirmed my point for me, although you could do it again, by answering these questions (and reflecting on the answers):

Are carbon emissions currently increasing or decreasing? And is the rate of increase increasing or declining?

For the second time, I have not stated it is racist, it has the potential to be so but isn't in my opinion. there is issues of standards, or double standards, the issues of targetting people in a perjorative manner (A blustering, drunk middle aged whiteman whos been at the port with alleged antiquated views) but I dont see any racism but it is racially based.
