I was going to send a cleaning bill to Wrong-Direction for spillage on my wife's jean's, but as it rained so much, all the beer got washed away
I spilt a lot more after the game!

At the end, from our view it looked like Scheletto and the physio were in some kind of slow dance, it looked quite nice.

He is probably a good bloke but his performance vs Bournemouth away in the Cup game was enough for me and I’ve seen nothing since to change my mind

Made a terrible mistake that could have conceded a goal and then delivered a poor cross straight to the keeper when we had so many players in good positions.

Guess he gets his chance because Montoya is so inconsistent. Could try Webster there or get someone new in January

Yes, Duffy back in to CM with Dunk and Webster to RB might be worth trying against Naaarwich.

Or maybe give a player who has been out for a year some time to get up to speed

I trust Potter much more than you appear to do.

Thought that he was awful when he came on and nowhere near as good as Montoya but full marks to him for coming back into contention.

Yes usual defensive blunder, coupled with a great cross.....

Par for the course.....

When the Greyhound ran on, he punched the air, double fist. Bloody brilliant. Best of luck to him.

Montoya was poor today but there was something not right across the side. A bit brittle. Hopefully a blip. We monstered Spuds. It will be nice to see us monster Naaarwitch. Bring it on.

Oh and in the post match Potter clearly suggested he thinks The Greyhound is a fudging lunatic.

Happy happy dayz.

It doesn't seem to matter to me how he plays, I always remember his performance v Chelsea where he tore them apart and should have had two penalties.

I remain far from convinced that he's a Premier League player, but he was over the moon at the end, bless him.
I'd say the same about Stephens but two years on We're doing ok.

Everton played well closing us down all over the pitch and the long ball to their nippy forwards caused us big problems

Are you suggesting that Everton are a half decent PL side who have a fair idea about what they are doing? ???

I think you may be correct

I sodding love him. He’s the PL Peter Smith with the mad conquistador look of yore, he’s the one, you know who’s worth the entrance fee alone... at once catastrophic and diabolic yet (there’s a small chance) he could do something utterly stupendous, one of those players who makes the whole crowd hush with a communal intake of breath - he’s a pinball wizard playing football and you just never know ! He’s a half full manager’s player, never going to work with a pragmatic professor of percentage like Chris, but likely to be the court jester of a king who likes a laugh when signing another PL managers death warrant.

Oh Marco, to the gibbet you go for the sport of the carrion crows.

I thought he had a place in Hughton’s line up where the defensive shape was usually so solid you could integrate a flairista like yer man. Currently with the defending all a bit haphazard and our willingness for every player to take caculated risks passing at the back, I guess I yearn for a more solid customer there now. But good luck to him if he gets his chance and keeps the shirt
