All down to the EU to accept.

I think that is the general idea.
Slim chance a deal will go through but let's wait to see what it is (only 4 people know) but if it doesn't it will be all the fault of the EU.
And still not 1 answer on how we will legally leave on 31st if it doesn't.
I'm sure the cabinet are waiting with bated breath as they don't know anything either.

So we finally have the new deal proposal, "leaked" (cough cough) to the Telegraph tonight.

- A regulatory border between the UK and Northern Ireland in the Irish Sea for four years.

- Customs checks between the North and the Republic of Ireland, away from the border.

- Northern Ireland leaves the Customs Union ( with UK ) but remains temporarily aligned to single market rules for agriculture and industrial goods.

- Northern Irish parties will get a say on whether they want to continue alignment on EU single market or converge with the UK mainland after four years.

So it's basically a NI only 4 year NOWSTOP.

Seems reasonable.

I hope the EU and enough MPs go for it.

Time to leave - but only with a deal.

Fear of leaks from his own cabinet probably.
And now told to go out and big it up without saying what it is.
Nice that you can't trust any of your own cabinet.
They are all under threat of being sacked and booted out of the party anyway.
Most are remainers and hate Johnson as well, selling their principles to stay in a job, Javed for one.

Steve Baker appears to have lost it: in a tweet he's now comparing Johnson to Satan and the Tories as legions of the damned.

What - the Jonathan Powell that spent 20 years as a diplomat and then went on to one of the most important roles in NI.

'During the period 1997-2007 Powell was also the chief British negotiator on Northern Ireland. One of Powell's most crucial jobs was his role in the Northern Ireland peace talks that led to the Good Friday Agreement.'

Sounds like a bit of an expert to me, why should we listen to him

I watch channel 4 news and Newsnight for the Brexit stuff, recently and especially last night Maitlis had them turning themselves inside out.
But still no answers to any questions because they don't know what is going on themselves.

Everyone prepare yourselves for the blue rinse brigade, Tory boys and brainwashed teens applauding every word Johnson says even though he is the biggest liar and loathsome toad that has ever entered No 10.
He will probably explain the deal in Latin.
