I really hope I'm wrong, but I don't think any of the players you mentioned apart from Dunk who has real potential and Knocky, who needs to improve his top level consistency, are anywhere near good enough over a full season.
IMHO though as I explained before it doesn't really matter. It's about being a yo-yo club for a few seasons whilst at the same time improving our overall quality. We can do it, and as someone else stated TB will give us the best chance of success.

You don't think Stephens, Knockaert, Duffy and March have the potential to be PL quality players? A quite staggering opinion if you don't mind my saying so. If you are right, we are absolutely ****ed.

If you watch the lower half of the PL, position for position, there are plethora of players who I would argue the above are already better than now, and have the potential to be better still.

We need to add real quality in a couple of positions then plug the gaps to fill the squad and I will be confident.

Yes, I had always had the theory that it would be beneficial to play the yo-yo card for a few seasons to build up the club to a situation where we could stay there. Unfortunately there seem to be a lot of clubs around now with this business model and some are going to fall by the wayside. The main thing we have is that Bloom has a lot of knowledge re football stats and may be in a better position than most to make it work for us.

Whatever happens we need an upgrade on Baldock, as we have been saying for at least two seasons with nobody forthcoming. Surely we can swing it this time?

I'm not sure there is such a thing as a 'yo-yo' club. Burnley did it (once?) and I suppose Newcastle went straight back up (but they really are an 'established Prem side) and you might include Hull but more often than not relegated clubs are just chucked into the mix.

More and more spending is being undertaken by the more establish Champ sides and so I'd only see us being amongst a clutch of clubs considered amongst the favourites for promotion, no more than that

We do, but if he is fit, he will do a reasonable job throughout August.

I keep thinking Solly will be a revelation this season. Dont know why, just a gut feeling.
I'll settle for a greater level of consistency.

Solly by no means was the the only offender from last seasons attacking unit, but on too many occasions, in too many games, he was found with his thumb up his arse.

There's no longer any room for passengers.

I said at the time of his comeback anything the team got from him last season should be viewed as a bonus, on the way to seeing the real Solly March after a full preseason.
I still think that's right, but I wasn't expecting him to go missing, esp at the pointy end of the season, as often as he did.

You really think we'll sign 6 players? I think you're living in cloud cuckoo land - no offence meant. 2 or 3 at the very most I believe; and they may not be the most exciting signings we've ever made either.

Is that 2 or 3 from now or 2-3 in the summer? You can't possibly be suggesting we're going to sign nobody else between now and the end of the window.

He's got the ability unquestionably. He needs a long injury-free spell, and to develop a bit more confidence and continue his improvement in decision-making. These fall into place, and there's one hell of a player.

Too negative... we certainly do have the 'nucleus' of a Prem team... our weakest area (as always) is our strikers... Sam B should be replaced as 1st choice IMHO...

Ideally, none of our current strikers should be first choice... but we may need to compromise a little dependent upon how easily it is to bring in the necessary quality.

It's oft said, and I think accurately, that the way to stay up is to score lots of goals. Hoping to sneak a lot of 1-0 victories doesn't seem to work (see Boro).
