I could have told you May was finished a week ago.

I struggle to see any other way out of this pickle right now though. What do you think?
I don't know of a way out either.

For general policy change, you need a majority in the house. What about for Brexit, they've already voted to give the government the power to agree a deal for the UK, so does that still stand?

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Labour have said there will be no coalition.
May has said she is not resigning, so she will have to try to get the Queens speech through Parliament. If she can't, then she will have to go to the Queen, say she cannot form a government and call another election. It's a mess.

What I suspect will happen is that the DUP will vote with the Cons, but make them water down some of their policies.

Sore loser much! The OP's phrase is a common one and perfectly apt in this instance.

Your false outrage butters no parsnips today.

Very happy for Brighton today. The Tory Cancer has gone.

You utter clown.
Dont feel ive lost at all, and i dont do outrage, it doesnt exist.

Tories have the most seats, labour lose again and a distant second, second referendumers blown out of the political water and leaving The Eu is safe and secure.
Happy days.

They always start by saying that.

That I wouldn't mind. I'm more concerned they'd ask for bribes

Seems there's been some over-aggressive thread merging, which is a shame.

So, the exit poll pretty much nailed it again.

Exit poll / actual

Tory 314 / 319
Labour 266 / 261
SNP 34 / 35
Lib Dem 14 / 12

(Tory / Labour could move by 1 depending on the Kensington result)

Tories won, they form government in theory.

If i was tess, I would resign and tell her party to allow the bearded gimp and his rag tag band of dreamers to form a government with bernie, Dim Tim, and the green with envy Lucas. This coalition of con artists would blow up in 6 months.

In walks the wonderful Ruth Davidson who sticks it to bungle Boris and grubby Gove and sweeps the Tories to a landslide. She renounces her remain tendencies and we leave the EU and all its dirty bribe money.

I did say I was sobering up slowly.

YouGov were not far off either in their polls leading up to the election. They got Labour spot on, but underestimated Tories by 10 seats.

Lib Dems aren't propping anyone up.
