I think I have tried most of their beers at some time or other but I rarely bother now, Elvis Juice was OK and that's about as glowing as I can get about it.

I see. IMO Dead Pony is pointless if you have ever drunk Punk IPA. I agree the others might not be to your taste but they are quite strong tasting beers....hence my question.

Yeah but Dead Pony is a session ale (a very very dull session) and Punk is 5.6% (which I can drink if it's cheap in sainsburys). Two very different ales for different occasions.

I have to say I love Punk, it is my current favourite beer. Tad expensive at £15.50 at Tesco for 12 (small) cans. But the taste is exquisite. The only time I found it on tap was at the Trafalgar (?), it was promotion night... cost over 6 quid a pint!!!

I'm due my first visit to this establishment on Saturday. I believe it's pub 7 on the scheduled from the station crawl. Not quite sure how "session" it will be. :lolol:

A few places have it on tap, but you can see why they are reluctant at 5.6% a pint! A few Greene King in London do, Also the Cricketers in Worthing

I would definitely not want to be going to a Brewdog Bar 7 pints in !!

The Tesco 12 for £15.50 works out at around £2.30 a pint. Not draft I know but as with most supermarket purchases a significant difference to a pub price.

Love it and didn't think they could top it but with Elvis Juice they have. Very similar to Punk but stronger. Tesco and Morrisons have it. Don't think much of the double IPA President one I have to say.

Depends what a Tory is? If it's 6 young ladies with puppies the size of melons asking me if they could come in, I told them no, they had no beer, they had nothing to bring to the party.

We are going from the station area so I was THINKING:

Trafalgar, Evening Star, Caxton Arms, Lord Nelson, Basketmakers, North Laine Brewary

About 0.9 miles until the TREK across to Brewdog.

If you're still standing add Brighton Bier Haus on to the end of that. Or even skip the North Laine Brewery to sneak it in.

Agree. Maybe add in The Pond?
