Were the fatbit wearers also wearing Crocs by any chance?
No, but they all wear trainers to the office and then change into proper shoes when they arrive. Every desk seems to look like some kind of sad shoe-only charity shop underneath as they leave their whole collection of footwear there.

Pregnant girl at work is doing my head in. It's literally all she talks about. NOBODY CARES!

On Friday she asked me to collect the stuff she sent to the printer.. about a five second walk away. Apparently she couldn't "waddle" over to it. She's barely three months, there's no bump yet, and she certainly ISN'T 'waddling'. I'm going to have MONTHS of this shit to listen too. God knows how her partner is coping.

Bellcheesery has generally gone down where I work, finally. Got approached by management today who essentially thanked me for all of my hard work, for taking initiative in finding something to do when I've got nothing on instead of idling and dossing, and finally realising that "all of the other staff aren't pulling their weight so we reeally appreciate it".

Too little too late really, but it's good to be acknowledged. Why should I have to be sincerely thanked for working hard and taking initiative in a job whose description explicitly stated "it is essential that you can work to your own initiative"?

OK we have another round of guess what the consultant brought in.

The CEO has hired some over paid consultant to tell him how to buy more plants it would appear(I am not quite sure what he is here to do but I am sure he is probably on a day rate of £1500+, but my NSC chums what has the consultant brought in from home and placed on his desk?

A picture of himself in some sort of semi-clothed state posing heroically?

Ooh I love these. I'm going for:

1. His own, designer anglepoise lamp.
2. A mini USB powered hoover for keyboard crumbs
3. A NUTRIBULLET

A small version of a motivational poster?
