You obviously didn't watch Prickhard in yesterday's game at Brentford. He played one decent pass, otherwise gave the ball away and wandered around doing little. On that showing he wouldn't make our bench.

If I remember correctly, when he was at Spurs He was very highly regarded and was earmarked as thier future number 10. Then he got a long term injury, so they went out and bought Dele Ali. Ali's form meant Pritchard became surplus to requirements. Once fit again he couldn't get back into the Spurs reconning, and realised he wasn't going to budge Ali, and so requested to move on.

Now I'm not saying he is in the same bracket as Dele Ali, but he is not as crap as some on here seem to think. With the right management and a run in a good team, he could still reach the potential he showed at Spurs.

Well he's hardly going to accept a 20% paycut to come back here on the contract we offered him as clearly the only thing he's interested in is money, so I wouldn't worry about us ever signing him. Just hope he goes on to be a failure and regret being a greedy little (insert expletive).

I think he probably would. I think his motivation for going to Norwich was because he thought they had a better chance of Promotion there. Many others thought the same. I DID NOT.

I never thought Norwich would be up there and said so right from the start of the season. Their defence is too dodgy and certain players have too much influence around the club. Their manager has played at no decent level (although that doesn't always matter) but his press interviews are always so repetitive. His arrogance about us and in particular Murphy and Knockeart before they played us was so disrespectful that he got what he deserved that day which was an absolute hammering.

You are probably right though. I don't think we will sign Pritchard. I just don't think our Manager and the Chairman would take him now and I don't think Norwich can afford to admit they were wrong to the tune of 3 or £4m within such a short space of time

Also, if Norwich still consider themselves promotion candidates, they wouldn't want to sell to a rival. It's for this reason that I can't see Fulham letting Martin go back to Derby - no matter what the cost would be.

I'd take him. He's made an error, badly advised, call it what you will........ greed....

But would suit us and improve the team.

A grovelling apology including the word 'mistake' would also help.

Murray seems to have done fairly well on his return and I was more irked when he went to Palace.

A luxury player, vastly overrated due to one season at Brentford. If the option arose that we could pick him up for half what we initially agreed, pretty sure we would back out of it based on his abject performances for Norwich and general shitty attitude. I'd rather have Teixeira on loan.

I'm convinced recruitment are breathing sighs of relief over this one.

This is where I see my niche role within the club.

I could work in my own office, where the job title on the door, said 'Vindictive asshole'.

I'd happily play footie with Pilchard from September to 29th January.
Make peace with all the warring factions.
Offer him the deal of his dreams, get everything in place for a last second deadline day swoop.
Only to text him 'the deal's off' with minutes to go, and then go public with what you'd assume to be a awful lot of backstabbing he'd leveled at Norwich..

I hope that you would be sending this text from a motorway service station whilst Pritchard was just coming off the M23 on his way to Falmer?

Completely this. Lots of players are said to have 'potential', but not enough to get into the Spurs side, the Sunderland side, or now a mid-table Championship side.

Jeff Minton II at best, motivated by money.

West Ham have had a £10million bid rejected, hopefully this knocks Norwich interest on the head

Add end of last season: 7 goals in 7 games after returning from injury after sidelined for nearly 2 years

Not saying he is not a good player but i would not want my club bidding £10+ on a striker that has had 2 cruciate knee ligament injuries (same knee) and a long term Ankle injury within the last 2 years. Remember he has only played 33 times in championship.
