Am I missing something with the whole Keith Lemon thing? I know it's meant to be a satire of some kind, and I haven't really tried very hard. But not sure I get it at all.

Totally agree about Keith Lemon.

Also Ricky Gervase has never made me laugh. Totally self-serving, arrogant and unfunny.

and back to the OP, I think Russell Howard is quite personable, but he is not funny.

And although I like Rowan Atkinson a lot, I have never laughed at mr Bean.

Maybe a lot could have been blamed on Her OVER 20 YEARS AGO, but as it is his only shtick do you not find it gets rather tedious if not childish?

When we jokingly say in our household on occasion "It's all Thatcher's fault," we usually work out that it probably is.

I think Jeremy Hardy can be extremely funny. But then I also tend to think an awful lot can be blamed on that bitch Thatcher. So there you go.

'bitch' - nice use of gender-specific abuse. Can I join in and give a gender-specific insult about Hardy? Apart from being a smug, unfunny knob, he's also an IRA-lover who has even stumped up significant amounts of bail money for members of the IRA. He's a cock.

Jim Davidson.
An idea popped into my head a few months back that perhaps I'd been judging him unfairly all these years - after all, I'd only seen 20-second clips of his material from the 80s, so I attempted with an open mind to watch one of his more modern routines, with the aim of watching the whole performance, perhaps even finding him funny.
I lasted just over 10 minutes before I left the website :glare:

Also, Russell Howard.
Most of the people I went to secondary school with, even by the age of 15, seemed to worship him, as if he was some sort of comedic god, but I've never seen what all the fuss was about tbh. Showbusiness's answer to Federico Turienzo

Northern Hemisphere.
Andy Millman when he played Ray Stokes in 'When the whistle blows'.

Full of crude jokes and terrible catch phrases. A comedy purely aimed at thick people. I hope Andy Millman never gets back on TV. What a knob!

Alan Partridge.
How do people manage to laugh at such a deluded, insincere, tactless and largely talentless TV host has always been beyond me.
Also a bully, the way he treated his PA was disgusting and people laughed at this.
I was so pleased when he got 'found out' and demoted to a very early show on some backwater radio station in Norfolk, where he continued to upset all the locals, including farmers the Irish and his fellow DJ's.
This fool continued to embarrass himself on a daily basis to the extent that he did not even know what a cup of beans is.
Trying to fool people with 8 inch plates, embarrassing the elderly by suggesting that they clog up toilets with mashed up Dundee cake, stealing traffic cones, pretending to wash himself in front of a young girl with pretend small peices of soap, dressing up like a zombie by vandalising his hotel room and dismantling a trouser press.
The list is endless.
And apparently this man is popular.
Some people!

I didn't know he was a comedian TBH, i thought he was a radio presenter and chat show host.
I know he thinks he's funny though. :)

To quote the bible of wikipedia...
Graham William Walker (born 4 April 1963), better known by his stage name Graham Norton,[2] is an Irish television and radio presenter, comedian, and actor.

He may have wrote it himself... :D
