Some Brighton were openly celebrating when Murray snapped his leg during the playoffs, you could call that hypocritcal?
I didn't see any celebrating when he was stretchered off. And his leg didn't snap.

Oh - and you're comparing that to Gerry's injury!? No one fouled Murray, he just twisted his leg. And as you can see, Murray's career wasn't ended. You tw@

A) He didn't snap his leg.

B) Hypocritical of what? I was comparing a specific incident of them posting a cartoon of Gerry Ryan on the BBS or whatever it's called...

Yeah some of them did 100%.
Well those around me didn't. So maybe there were a few drunk people, maybe even a few w@ankers. But it's nothing like when Gerry Ryan's career was ended. You should be ashamed of anyone laughing at that, yet here you are trying to defend it.

A) Of course not literally but he was out for 9 months. Fair play to him thats ended other careers.
B) Cheering him now when at the time they were a few that were cheering when it happened.

No, not at all. That was awful what happened to Ryan and I would never mock that at all. The Palace that do are mugs in all honesty. Im just making a point that there are idiots on both sides.

There are idiots at all football clubs. It attracts complete morons I'm afraid. Leeds & Millwall have more than the others though, I'm pretty certain on this fact...

I don't know what a tw@ is but im better sure thats intended as an insult! Never compared it at all, the injury to him was awful and mocking the end of a career rival or not is muggy. Fair play to Murray, it was a little bit more serious than a "twisted leg" the way he came back so good his a testament to him and in part the Palace backroom staff.

Ok, my mistake.

Have you seen anyone on NSC mock Murray's injury?

I dont spend enough time here to remember, only going on what I witnessed at the time and after the game. Im sure a few of you did on the match thread at the time though.

I think you need to accept that Murray is a Brighton legend. We are his spiritual home. He only played for you because of an idiot called Gus Poyet. No one at the club has any real resentment with him leaving us for you. Murray himself must've been equally as gutted about having to play for a lesser team, in a smaller stadium 50 miles up the road. He never celebrated whenever he scored past us. He's a Brighton man who loves living in Brighton. The injury he picked up against us was a pretty small ordeal. A minority enjoyed it. Most of us actually enjoyed seeing him do well as it only proved what all us fans already knew, we'd made a terrible decision in letting him go.

I actually agree with that, an awful mistake letting him go even after getting 4 million for a free transfer. Well agree with all apart from the lesser team bit.

He was our top goal scorer, we'd just won the League 1 title way ahead of Southampton. Even Pardew would've known he was too good to let go. 442 magazine did an article on Murray calling him the Berbatov of league 1. He was a complete luxury.
After leaving, for the next 5 years, NSC had constant threads about how we should never have let him go and how we need to get him back. Rumours every summer of him at the training ground ready to sign up. It was a constant bitter pill which seemed lodged in all our throats. And now, finally, he's back and he's doing exactly what we all knew he was capable of. He's been the missing piece of the Albion jigsaw for half a decade.

Do you lot ever regret letting him go?

Of course, he is a class act.

If we go down he will go 100%
Zaha all day long.

Bolasie couldn't have been that good then? Our Knockaert looks better than Zaha. I thought you lot had finally realised how overrated he was? IMO He's just another Paulo Wanchope but with a couple of non effective step overs in his locker.
