According to todays Argus the business will NOT be completed before the game against Derby so says CH.

We probably just need 1 striker and 1 center back ( given Hunemeier is out for a few weeks ) in place for the Derby game.

Another new striker, 3rd choice left back, and perhaps another midfielder can be done before the window shuts.

I would think more a case of 2nd choice left back to cover and compete with Bong for the 1st team spot, with Rosenior doing the same with Bruno and being 3rd choice left back.

"“We would like one more (full-back). We have three players in two positions and flexibility with Liam, but we need another one.
“It depends which way we go. If we bring in a centre-half that can play full-back, or a midfielder, that would suffice.

Well thats not quite what the Argus reported. They said it was "unlikely" in their headline.
and that was based on a quote by Hughton where he was a bit more nuanced about timings.

"“History says and our experiences say a lot of business can be done in that last week of the window.
“Ideally any players that you bring in you want in as early as possible to let them get a feel of the club and integrate. The reality is on a lot of occasions it doesn’t happen.
“I think we are in a better position than we were certainly this time last season, when we had to bring in a lot of players. The feeling at the moment is we need to add well to our squad but nowhere near the numbers of last year.”

I'm not sure we are likely to strengthen in Central midfield. I guess it depends if CH sees a future for Ince or JFC.
