spot on. 'statement of intent' indeed :D :D

Aren't statements of intent magnificent! For instance, tonight I'm going to have a threesome with Mila Kunis and Rachel Riley. That's a statement of intent. The reality is that I'll probably end up having a sad lonely w@nk and a pot noodle. Which, let's be fair, is probably the greatest analogy of the Crystal Palace transfer policy you will ever find.

How many of the people bemoaning the transfer fees and wages paid in the Premier League are also paying the £750 a year that Sky now charge for the privilege of a Super Sunday of Bournemouth v Sunderland, Stoke v Burnley and Palace v anyone? It's time to reclaim the game by binning the subscriptions, otherwise you are feeding the monster.

Sent from Konnie Huq's lingerie drawer.
Now TV entertainment ( yes I know that's part of Sky ) for £7 a month for Game of Thrones and the rest of the Sky Atlantic stuff, and watching the albion games in the pub, has saved me a fortune.

Don't miss it at all.

Looks like the 'statement of intent' is going to Chelsea ???

It's superbly marketed, but I've just binned mine off.

Emperor's new clothes.

Too many 'experts' talking on the TV and Radio these days about anything to do with the game. ****ing parasites the lot of them.

That Sky ad seems a bit hysterical to me, completely overdone when you look at what's actually on offer.

This deal is very unlikely , there are bigger teams in for him now and our interest was leaked to get the transfer moving . He is a great prospect but our real target is proven and more suited to our free flowing style . Watch this space , it's gonna be a exciting week .

That's not entirely true is it. The player in question turned you down because you're a tin pot club. Shit ground, up and down more times than a yo-yo.

I have. The latest price hikes were the tipping point for me. Binned.

Kodi all the way now. Wish I'd done it years ago.

Yeah I know what you mean - I binned it off well over a year ago, but still resent the fact that I didn't do it sooner.

I signed up for Sky because of the Cricket, Golf - all 4 majors and the Ryder Cup, Documentaries and History channel and the bonus towards the end of last season was us being on more and more. I never watch Premiership football as it's so tiresome and boring.

Sky reporting Palace offered £110,000 per week.
Belgium have pulled him out of this afternoon's press conference for medical as Chelsea have offered £33m.

All of which I can pick up on my Firestick. OK its not always 100% reliable or in perfect HD, but more often than not its fine and its free (plus there's all the latest movies). Sky have just priced me out. Its a great product, but I just cannot justify spending north of £80-odd quid a month on it. Its gotten absolutely ridiculous.

Oh, and whether you watch the Premier League football or not, make no mistake, that's primarily what you're paying for. Sky were always going to clobber its subscribers for that 5.5 BILLION quid they've just thrown at the Premier League in the latest deal - and they haven't even got the Champions League any more ! So, more for less (unless you're really into the MLS). Like it or not, your hard-earned is going to help towards Raheem Sterlings latest gold-plated Bentley Continental.

Worth every penny ?

It's people like me who hasn't got a laptop/computer and use this Samsung Tablet that put up with paying their fees and I've never heard of a Firestick before and besides my wife and children enjoy the channels so if they're happy then so am I.

I agree with you that it irritates me knowing I'm helping pay prima donors wages which they are detached from reality and they aren't as good as they think they are but I've no other choice really as I like to see happy faces in our household.

Fair enough. Its obviously a lot easier and straightforward staying with Sky, it was just pure laziness on my part that I never got round to exploring other options and eventually cancelling. Glad I did though, I don't miss it at all now.
