Nobody is basing anything on one day. Sadly, people like you will eventually realise what a terrible mistake this country made this week. Whether it is sooner or later is debatable but it will happen.

Again. Opinion.

In my opinion, people who didn't vote out will eventually realise what a great decision it was as Europ keeps stagnating and internal pressures increase. The EU's days are numbered.

Do you think those who didn't vote are more likely to be wealthy, degree educated types? Or the sort of person being portrayed as more likely to be a brexiter?

Me and you live if different worlds, I like to think mine is vision, yours is sitting on top of a fence, sometimes you have to go for it grab, go on Finchley it not too late to change, you may even enjoy it.

How is mine sitting on top of a fence. I strongly believed we should stay in the EU. From where I sit, your opinion is narrow minded and has endangered the future of this country. I am part of the younger generation who are going to pay for the older generations decision so I am understandably annoyed. It's my pension, my future which will be messed up for something I didn't vote for (and the majority of my generation didn't vote for).

This question is for leave, not for remain. We didn't vote for this so it is down to the people who decided to leave to take us forward. Surely it is already mapped out. We've already got the £350 million for the NHS as promised. I presume there'll be no unemployment and everyone's life will improve amazingly. I can't wait to see it the amazing country we become!

Now, now Finchley seagull, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit

Actually yes, l really do think that the EU has helped Britain to progress in many ways.

Do you really have so little faith in our great nation? We are more than capable of running our own country without the help of the EU. The UK is great because of the people here, not because of some bureaucrats in the EU.

Are you the type of person that needs to be constantly shown how to conduct themselves in the right manor? Can you not look after yourself? Can your country not look after its self?

Fair enough, you have your opinion, which was trotted out over and over again......unfortunately for you the voter disagreed...... and yes many on here are basing on what has happened on one day.

I kept out of the debate about the referendum on here until now but some of the drivel people are writing made me decide to post on here. And yes, a small majority of the people who voted disagreed with me. However, the vast majority of the younger generation, who will be most screwed over by this decision, didn't vote for this.

And, as I said elsewhere earlier, if remain had won then you can guarantee Farage would have been calling for another referendum.

What we need to ensure are that those who took us out have as little influence as possible on sorting out the mess.
A snap Election would create more financial turmoil but is necessary although incumbent MPs will not want one.

Perhaps, we will never know.
As for the youngsters, many voted out because they think our youngsters will have a better future, you do not agree.
This is a comment that i agree with, part of why i voted out, for the younger generation.

"Whereas 30 years ago a builder, bus driver and shop keeper etc could buy a house and provide for their family - now they can not. This despite all the advances we have seen and the rising income this country has had. We have become the 'have yaughts' and the the 'have nots'. Trickle down economics has not worked. Brexit happened because of the last 30 years and not the last 30 days."

A civil war is an internal matter therefore mutual defence agreements do not apply.

Or would you prefer the invasion of a country on the pretext of defending EU citizens.

Things obviously boiled up to such an extent that there was a war, hardly a peaceful Europe, also why didn't they intervene and stop the fighting and protect the lives of the innocent caught in the middle? (seeing as the EU were supposedly the reason for and protector of peace across the continent as per the argument used for staying within the EU) - we sent in peacekeepers despite them not being EU members

Who is going to threaten and invade the Countries that are currently the EU? even if they left and were no longer members? Other EU members? - there are 47 countries in Europe, 19 of them arn't directly EU members, yet non-EU countries haven't gone to war with other non EU members - if EU membership is the thing preventing war, it doesn't explain why the non-members haven't, as you'd expect them to be due to their lack of membership by that argument?

err, I think you're missing the point. I know the definition, I wanted to know what it meant to the poster personally as it's part of a rather grand sounding lexicon people are trotting out, suggesting they believe that their lives are now going to be dramatically, almost magically, transformed.

Sitting on the fence is scared of change, you have bought into the bullshit from the media, I have a young family so there is no way I would put them in danger, I also have retirement a decade or so away, we have released birds from the cage and that makes me delighted.
If you rate yourself and your fellow citizens then why not just forget the media and get behind your team, Team Britain.

If not you know where the door is.

Can the main political parties actually afford another GE so soon after last year's?

And all this is more to do with the U.K. Government than the EU, or did the rise of buy to let pass you by

Brighton / Hove actually
Everyone’s priority is European security so we still need to work on a united front and improve the system with the EU in this instance.

And anyone who preaches the Islamification of Britain and death to the Kaffir should be parachuted into Raqqa with immediate effect. We know who they are, they all have youtube channels.
