6th position in January with our strongest team out. Then 4 key players got injured at the same time and we went on a bad run. We are not a bad side at all when we have our best 11 on the park as the 2014-15 season proved when we finished 10th, you just hate to admit it!
Jeeez creaming your knickers over your position in January.
I take it you mean before being dry humped by:-

Chelsea
VILLA
City
Spurs
Bournemouth
Watford
West Brom
L'pool
Leicester
Utd
&
NEWCASTLE.

As I said, long term injuries to 4 key players caused the shit run.

Money talks so I think Kayal & Dunk will go but I think better clubs than Palace will come in for them. Just be interesting to see how they fare in the bidding process!

I couldn't give a shit if we sign him or not, he'd be 4th choice at Palace at best.

Aarrgghh! The stupid. It hurts.

Of course he wouldn't be 4th choice at best. If Palace were to buy a player from us it would be at a huge premium just because you are our rivals. Now ask yourself, would any team - even a Pardew managed one pay over the odds for a 4th string midfielder?

Now what was that about you not trolling?

This is my feeling, he seems very happy here.

Now if I was bloom id absolutely refuse to do business with Palace, he is Brighton through and through so it won't happen easily for palace even if true.

Out of interest who was the last player we actually "sold" to Palace?

Let's be grown up here, If your club put enough money on the table, If the player wishes to make the switch and If our board feel that we cannot stand between the player and where he should be performing then you may get this outstanding player, as much as it grieves me to admit this.
On the subject regarding your initial question as to is he good enough, I can only go by how I felt from the moment he made his debut for us, from his first touch you could see the quality he oozed and my first and remaining impression is that we absolutely robbed Celtic, the 370k reported fee was way below his real worth and rumours going around that prior to a serious injury top Premier league sides were preparing offers came as no surprise.
He is a top top player, grounded, hard working, with star quality and in my opinion at least as good and probably better than what you already have and I will be devastated if he were to leave for any other club and doubly so if it were to your club and believe me when and if your club are lucky enough to land him you would definitely not be disappointed but sadly for us I feel it could be a mortal blow to our chances next year.
