A few Albion 'fans' being nationalistic ****s on the train last night...a rare occurrence?

They played for the Republic of Ireland? (not including Armstrong)

Nice dodge.

You're stating that it's silly to sing an anti-IRA song because 2 players have played for the Republic or Ireland.
Have I missed something in the middle there? ???

Why do we need to be anti IRA if we support Brighton and Hove Albion?

Why does our primary song have to be in support of English troops fighting the Germans?

Not the real one
Yesterday was same as it would be for a sell-out Amex cup-tie against 'big' name Prem opposition - the tw@t ratio goes through the roof

This is the truth, also they are the ones most likely to make a noise throughout. So there's plus and minuses. Although with that particular song in mind. Isn't it sung by unionists in NI? Therefore taking sides in the NI conflict on a train in Brighton in 2016 does seem a bit stupid.

Do you realise how the IRA actually started?

Are you really agreeing that we should still, in the year of 2016, still be singing hate songs about them?

Worthing
Personally, I wouldn't endorse the singing of any sectarian song, from either side,be it No Surrender or one of the Woolfe Tones more controversial ditties.
I'm an ex-serviceman and have absolutely no sympathy with the any of the cowardly terrorist s,from either side of the religious divide in NI.

I do love a pint Guiness though

Adrian Ismay, murdered March 2016 by the 'real' IRA, simply for being a prison officer. A little more recent than 1066.
