Think he has showed real glimpses of quality. I don't buy this "he doesn't care, he's not trying" nonsense. If he wants to get in the Utd team then he has to make a success of this loan. There's something wrong with him, he hasn't looked right since his illness. A professional footballer should not look knackered after 15 minutes. Wouldn't be surprised if it turns out there is something seriously wrong with him.

Quite. Shows every sign of having had like glandular fever that takes a long time to get over. There's definitely something not right there, as will no doubt be revealed in due course. Pretty much sure it's not laziness.

Why do we keep playing him, surely our medical team are up to being able to assess a player's fitness especially when he always looks knackered after a short period. Mystery why we keep playing him as he really has not been that good for a while now.

The lad has a lot of promise, but he is either constantly knackered or lazy. It looks the latter.

Looked like he was sick on the pitch (again), just after he came on. If he's ill, why is he on the bench? Could have had Bobby Z instead.

Pretty ridiculous to suggest that he's lazy. He's signed for Man U as a kid, life-changing future untold riches at his feet, he gets sent out to the Albion for a bit of match play and suddenly he can't be arsed? Sorry, that doesn't ring true in any shape or form. Lad's patently got some kind of underlying medical problem that he's finding very hard to shake off. Did you not see him chucking up pitchside at Xmas and looking like death warmed up? He's not been right since. Having said that, it is a bit baffling that we do keep persevering with him at this crucial stage of the season when he's clearly still not nearly 100%.

See above. I'm pretty sure he did today as well. Not a lot, but he was definitely sick.

You're right. I meant the former.

Couldn't believe how poor his effort was watching on from holiday on TV. A couple of time the ball was yards from him and he didn't even attempt to run for it. Disgraceful performance.

He was being carried by the other 10. Didn't put in a days work today. After Baldock was injured, thought we would carry on in the same mould, but we noticed the difference almost immediately. 50/50's were shirked, no tracking back, no putting the back 4 under pressure - every ball was a pass out, rather than rushed clearance, just no effort from him. Man U will have watched that, and he is not doing himself any favours with them.

Hemed, initially, kept motoring past him both ways! It must have taken its toll, as he was knackered, and as soon as he came off, I knew we were in for a "backs to the wall" until the end. When 442, you need your forwards to defend from the front, and he was not doing that for sure. Didn't notice any of the others giving him a talking to though! Wanted someone to gee him up.

His drive was responsible for the second goal, looked very lively at times but drifts out of games. Oddly reminds me so much of Lingard, flits around without ever being totally convincing - but look at where Lingard is now

Only when there's a pass to chase does he really get going. I felt he bottled several challenges today and doesn't get anywhere near stuck in enough.
I don't personally see the point in bringing him on unless there's an injury as he's no more energetic than a tired player who's been on the pitch for an hour

I think he has a lot of potential, as some of his goals have shown. He's obviously not 100%, but I would also say he is very light-weight. He doesn't look like a footballer to me. Perhaps if he bulks out a bit this will make him more resilient, and he'll be able to stand up to the batterings he's likely to get from teams like Burnley.

Bobby had a knock in training during the week club said.
Baldock - its hamstring again. Tuesday doubtful.

Shame Baldock was much more effective than Wilson today.

So Hemed and Wilson are now the only two forwards available at present.
