I'm back after ban

Complete rubbish, Danny Seagull is a good friend of mine, he has stayed at my house here in Wales, we are good mates, I have banned him for good reason on at least 2/3 occasions and issued him quite a few infractions, us being friends does not alter anything, he was out of order and I dealt with it, we remain very good friends, I could, if I did not have to get ready for work, give a few examples of this, but I don't have time, or indeed am I going to sit here defending myself!

As I have said time and time again, I have met many people in the real world after I have issued infractions/ bans on NSC and have made many friends as well, personally I expect some critisism and in areas I have been wrong, when I have been wrong the situation has been reversed and I have ALWAYS apologised to that member.

Just for peoples information, we do, do many good things on here as well as just issue infractions and bans etc, as I am sure many people will underline, sadly many of the good deeds we have done are rarely done in public due to the nature of the issues.

We don't get paid for what we do,we do it for the good of the board and everyone concerned.???

Completely agree with the first ban, disgusting thing to say. BG could have family that read this forum, not a nice thing to read.

However, I feel the second ban was harsh. Stinks of power getting to Goldstones head. A better approach would simply be to close the thread and send a PM to Wints.. No?

What I have learnt from NSC over the last 15+ years

Don't be a ****, you won't get banned

That's it, so little learnt by so few over such a long period ???

Utter rubbish. Firstly I suggest you go and read the thread about the crash - then decide if what that poster wrote was acceptable. Regardless, it's not difficult to avoid being banned, or indeed picking up infraction points so those that complain that they have been banned just need to consider what they say in future - a bit like real life really only they get a virtual punch rather than a real one.

At the risk of appearing to be a teachers pet, I'm going to defend the mods here. I think posting history should be taken into account. To use a similar analogy to Bozza's, past history / crimes should be taken into account. A poster with 10,000 posts with a clean history that could make a stupid mistake and should be given some leaway. Whilst a new poster that almost immediately launches into unsavory and insulting posts needs their expectations around posting rights re-set sooner rather than later.

The mods do their 'jobs' pretty well as far as I can see - they removed a poster who posted some pretty abusive stuff against me around the Shoreham Air Crash given the sensitivity at the time and people need to remember NSC is a hobby for them as well as us and not some professional business. *** brown nosing over ***

Cheque is in the post x

If you've been banned and come back with a trouble making and attention seeking 'about my ban' thread, you can only expect another ban. Trolling is correct, done only to stir things up. Or just for the sake of moaning. Both are dull and irritating.

Well, maybe it's just me then. For me it was Withdean, The Goldstone, Priestfield and The Amex. Though, obviously not in that order!

Its funny how words fit together and some sound right and some sound wrong.

"Where you off to today"

"I'm going to football at The Goldstone/Priestfield/Withdean/The Amex" was always the right wording for me as well.

I have missed Danny Seagull's posts.. . Has he just got bored with NSC?

Last I heard he was seen in Wales and then mysteriously disappeared.

I have heard that there is a police investigation and someone is having their patio dug up.
