Well, like everyone, some plans work out, some don't. We roll on. Adapt or perish and all that. Anyways, I'm off to Berlin later so I must away and clean the grime from my balls. A good weekend to you all.

If it's true and you are off to Berlin, have a good weekend yourself.

:) its not a bad result, lets be fair though it was an expected win for Labour and little to get excited about. its a 1-0 at home. the elation is indication of shear relief that it didn't go badly.

You really are the master of spin aren't you.

Well I've seen plenty of comments complaining about whole households of asians postal voting for labour

Its endemic where Asians (pakistanis and Bangladeshis) have control of the political machine, no doubt there will be the usual howls of outrage from some on here v, but its the unpalatable truth.

Does make me wonder after seeing these links. UKIP are going to make a complaint, let's see what comes out of it.

I'll be interested in the percentage turnout. It's bound to be higher than usual because Corbyn has ignited huge interest in those put off by traditional politics and so they will be out in force tonight voting for this new way in British politics.
Lower turnout, higher % for Labour, in a safe Labour seat, at a time the Syria vote was flooding our every waking moment. Not too difficult a result to predict. Plus they would be voting for Labour, not Corbyn specifically.

I'd like to offer a massive congratulations to everyone associated with the Labour Party on this most stunning of victories that, I'm sure, completely makes up for the utter shoeing they took at the last General Election.

Does that make the score Tories 1 - 1 Loonies for 2015?

"n a report earlier this year, the Electoral Commission named Oldham West and Royton as one of the constituencies alleged to have a "greater risk" of voter fraud"
Similar to Tower Hamlets then.

Interesting. I think Farage has good reason to make a complaint.

It's double standards. Whole households do vote for single parties regardless of ethnicity. No one is talking about investigating Guildford because all the residents of The Old Rectory Victoria Avenue voted conservative. Now Im not going to claim that there's nothing dodgy around postal votes, but UKIP's response to a comprehensive defeat is smear asian voters to deflect from their very poot showing.

So how come fraud has been found in postal votes elsewhere, Tower Hamlets to name one.

So, let me get this straight - Nigel Farage is complaining that Asian families have voted labour, as opposed to a party (UKIP) which seeks to demonise / exclude / deport those self same people?

Qu'elle Surprise.

Quite. I just used two examples, could be here all day listing why the public don't support them anymore.

I think you're clutching at straws to state that the public don't support them anymore, but you're welcome to start a thread fantasising about a labour win at the next election. It worked out well last time.

No, he is claiming there was fraud in the postal vote , youre either deliberately twisting the story or havent read it .
