I think I must be in the minority on this one . I don't actually think he is that good a player.

I know he has scored a lot of goals but every time i have seen a 90 minute match hes been playing, he has never really stood out but I cant really argue with his goal record

Really? You haven't seen him play against us then presumably. If you are referring to his Premier League appearances then fair enough but his Championship form can hardly be questioned.

Agreed. And I've been consistent on here in saying that we WILL bring in another striker for that role (who I expect to be first choice).

I'd be delighted if we could get Vydra in, a very good player at this level with a lot of pace. Has always caused our defence problems whenever he's played against us.

No I havn't seen him against Brighton. I watch a lot of matches through work related things so I have seen him play probably about 5 or 6 times. Perhaps he has just not played as well in the matches I have seen him. That can happen because players can't always play well and i have said that I can't really argue with his goal record

I vaguely remember somebody (may have been Bozza), indicating we are still after another striker, and 2nd winger. If both are first choice then we will have a pretty solid squad.

Hopefully O'grady and Colunga can be shipped out ASAP to facilitate.

That's not getting a thumbs up but you are 100% correct. Vydra was absolute MUSTARD that day and he would be amazing here. The thing I'm struggling with in the OP is the strong link with Forest and lack of link with us. Did I misread it?

I can vouch for this. But is this to do with inside knowledge, a hunch, or because you don't rate Baldock that highly.
PS Baldock was our best player for 70 minutes v Fulham IMHO -- their No 6 hated playing against him. Only Bruno came close to him.
PPS I think Vydra is better than him though

lets face it - Forest are linked with every single available player and quite a few who aren't - which is odd given the restrictions they are meant to be under.
