If we don't sign at least one quality winger and centre back VERY soon, this season is going to be painful. I don't think I can handle another minute of watching Calderon on the wing.

Hate to keep going on about this but I just can't believe we have got all the way to our final pre season game without signing anyone who will create some goals, after the unmitigated shite of last season. It's unbelievable Jeff.

It's not unbelievable. The trick to staying happy is not to believe it, then when if it happens, you're happy.

Where is Chaileyjem to sell us the official line?

Personally this is piss poor. I can only think we are waiting (and by god I hope this means have lined up) one or two LONG TERM loans.

We DESPERATELY need two or three IN FORM, FIT, ATTACKING players along with another centre back. MINIMUM

Pull the ****ing finger out guys, looks like all contracted players are now here, which in my book is a crock of shit. Missed the boat again. Esp if the above does not happen. Call me a bedwetter. Dont care.

I don't understand your inability to understand the basic principles of negotiation and personal choice. We clearly take the approach of having very definite targets to sign and stick to it (rightly so IMHO - look at QPR's transfer policy last couple of seasons and what a mess they are in), do you expect Paul Barber to dust off his cap gun and hold it to our desired wingers head to make him sign a contract? Or do you expect us to completely blow our wage structure for every signing who asks for a weeks thinking time before uprooting his family from some godforsaken northern hell hole?

The preachers of doom are spot on. It's nothing short of a disgrace that we haven't addressed the lack of attacking quality. For it two have happened last season is poor, for it to be happening again is inexcusable. Last season Burke was the scapegoat, who will be blamed this season?

What was the timing of the August transfers like last year? From memory: Tex signed after 1st game; Holla the day after 2nd; and Colunga and Baldock signed in the last week of August (after we'd beaten Bolton at home). Any other transfers in August??

I'd be happy with something similar this year. I think that we have a far stronger squad to build on than we did going into the first match last year.

I understand perfectly well thank you. We ****ed up last season and looks like its repeating this season.

He was wearing a jacket, he was wondering with some of the players doing autographs. Sorry I didn't take a picture, he is of no interest to me unlike the players

It won't be to soon. Barber is at the Amex wondering around chatting to fans

...and chatting to Oscar Garcia! Whats he doing there?

NB he's not undertaking training sessions, just sitting in the stand chatting with Barber... oh and Nathan Jones

My personal opinion is that Oscar is keeping contact with the club and no doubt be a front runner when CH gets the sack, or should I say if he gets sacked

haha we sign guy from RM 3rd team...and MK dons

MK Dons have announced the signing of Real Madrid Castilla captain Sergio Aguza on a two-year deal.

The 22-year-old midfielder has featured 46 times for Real's reserve outfit over the past two seasons and was on the bench twice for the first team last year.
