Not the real one
To get good players you have to pay good money, simple as that.

Even though Hughton denied it I believe the Albion did enquire. Blackburn are such a mess that I think they will go for 2mil wil a few add ons taking it to 2.5. At that price most other clubs will not bother with Marshall, but we are in need of this exact type of player. So as you say, we need to spend the money.

Manchester
Would be a good signing , good player , decent age. Worth 2m imo.

Rovers paid 1m so think you are right.

Few suggestions on their board he wont want a move south.

These suggestions probably come from the sort of people who are frightened to leave Blackburn. The thought of a day trip to Manchester would make them nervous.

Brighton factually.....
"next week" sounds a little like additional guesswork to me.
He'd be down by the end of the day if it's the move of his career so far.

This with bells on, no one would leave agreeing terms over the weekend if your future depends on it in my eyes.
Leaving it over the weekend would also suggest there is an element of doubt perhaps on the players behalf or the opportunity of a more lucrative bid to come in possibly actually inviting one.

Maybe my glass is half empty today.

Reliability percentage ?

Zero. This one really do make stuff up and then delete it. They're just guessing given that there have now been reliable press reports (Sky) that we've put in a bid.
They've said the same about our other reported targets this summer (Zamora, the Iranian winger, Murphy) and have said they're signing or at the club and of course nothing has happened.

One of my favorite loan players to have played for Carlisle, remember him tearing you apart & scoring in the 4-3 thriller at Withdean

Was that the one we nicked 4-3? Happy memories of Bridcutts' volley of it was :) That day just showed what confidence and a winning habit means to a team.
