That's a generous offer. But I have enough trouble trying to get the children into the pool on holiday as it is if the water isn't like a bath. Ice diving may be a step too far for them.

You give your kids a choice about what they do? Pah.

Normally do States or Mexico, but money is a little tight this year after over spending on a kitchen.
Got a six night break in Syria at the end of June.Four star hotel looks nice and was really good value.Cant wait.

Two weeks in Krabi in Thailand with the family end July/Aug. We've rented a villa this time with its own beach. Can't wait to get chilled out!

the club might be skint but the supporters sure ain't !

Not necessarily. Certainly when I had my " episode" that nearly got me a few years ago, then our outlook on life really changed and it is now more aimed at " you can't take it with you". So we haven't got a huge house, paid off the mortgage and live life to the full. Holidays are one of those things that means you can see this world. Yes we are extremely fortunate to be able to afford it, and if a couple of monthsago, the decision went against me, then we would have to reassess where we are and what we could afford.

Finally we would be happy for a week in cornwall as much as a week in Tenerife, so long as you are guaranteed the weather...

Five days in Munich starting tomorrow. More of a longish mini-break really. Aiming to see the major Keith Haring exhibition at the Kunsthalle, just generally mooch around and sample some quality beers and beer halls. Oh, and by some sheer fluke I'm in town for the Bayern - Barca game. Result or WHAT?!

Ensure you go to the Augustiner beer garden.

Exactly this ,if we had guaranteed weather here i wouldn't go abroad as much .There are so many places in The UK to visit.

my holidays aren't based on weather at all

can't stand the beach

would rather visit somewhere of interest all day long than cook in the sun

Got a few festivals in Europe. England trip to Slovenia next month, taking in the sights of Trieste on the way for 4 days.

Ibiza with mates for my 30th late August or early Sept. Annual trip to San Fran & San Jose for work in November and hopefully a holiday with the missus to the carriabean or Asia for 10 days early December, though moving house is doing its best to stop that
