Just seen his post match interview and he seems well happy with things at the moment?

After the match WA said we are after a quality striker. If we get him GOG will leave, if not he will stay.

There are plenty of examples of top teams holding on to their players even when they want out, and they're normally proved right to do so. If the player wants out, they just need to keep playing well and their move will come.

Yes he's getting a run in the team, and the manager has showed faith in him, so that's probably why he's doing well.

That's not unusual. Sven used to be like that with the England players.

A good player that wants to get a movet is better than no player. He's currently our best striker, and we're desperate for strikers, so to let him go without a proven replacement would be stupid. Asking him to stay for another few months is hardly a hardship for him, and we are paying him very well.

Everyone makes mistakes, no point being stubborn and digging a deeper hole. Time to move on and learn from it.

I love a debate with you Triggaaar, you're like a dog with a bone and refusing to let go

Can't see him staying, and I'm hoping the club have another striker lined up in this transfer window. If he was happy to stay then I'd be happy with that too - said right at the start of the season that he was likely our best striker option when compared to CMS and Baldock.

I've made my points and stand by them. Not a lot I can say beyond that really.

It would be insane to sell. To sell at a low price would be even more stupid!

Listening to Warren on the way home and it appears we are deep in the process of bringing in a top rated striker, one who will be better than the COG apparently, if we can get it over the line ? if we do he goes in Warrens words if not he stays, that's how i heard it, did anyone else?

I heard Aspinall say this, he seemed to think that the striker we're in talks with is far superior quality to O'Grady, which on his last few performances would take some doing. Hoping he didnt mean Ameobi

Is Warren that well connected? Genuine question.

The answer is sorry mate you are under contract. What we will do is let you go in the summer.

If he is on the staff, I'd imagine the club would rather he didn't drop hints. If a signing falls through he just ends up unsettling the player that is left.

I like Warren though. He pulls few punches.

The COG that was interviewed post match was definately a COG that is staying with us.

Is there any chance that we'll ship out CMS instead, if this new striker comes in ? ???

COG was brilliant today, fully committed, worked his socks off. He must stay.

Seriously don't see how we will get anyone to play better than that - and it was Arsenal that he did that against. Very impressed
