Why on earth would somebody hope their own team loses?
Hyypia has a three year contract and will still be in charge for quite some time regardless of this result. Surely you would hope we would win so we would have a chance of a prem club in the next round?

stop being such a splitter and a moaner and fall in with everyone else for once. Sounds a bit like blind loyalty to me baaaaaaa sheepy :sheep: cmon follow the crowd do the same FFS !!!

So what are you hoping to achieve by being one of about 5 people who want to sack the manager after 8 games?

It's football FFS, the only reason anyone goes is out of blind loyalty. Most teams rarely get promoted, half of all clubs will be in a relegation battle this season and every other season, it's just what happens.

Before you hit that thumbs down, here Is my reason. If Burton do beat us It will further the proof that Sami hasn't got a clue and something needs to be done. However If we do win that just adds another sheet of paper to cover the cracks that are so evidently there.

Whether you agree or not It's up to you.
Apart from the Southampton win Poyet didnt have the best of starts give the man a chance.

Based on what I saw on Saturday, we are definitely a team in transition and Virgs is right, we won't make the playoffs this year and as long as there's no danger of us going down then that's fine by me.
We had an excellent team over the last few years but we are starting a new cycle of events, which hopefully will result in us going up next season (yes I've written off this season already, just want to see the team gel and grow). I'll wait till xmas next season to judge how well Sami is doing. If we're languishing in mid table or lower with falling attendances then I can see him going.

Sooner if relegation threatens this season though.
