Problem was the OB had brighton wrapped up in the pub down the road from clapham junction that day and everyone got let out en masse to the station when this photo was taken

DR

If I remember rightly ,they put on a special train from Clapham that day?

I was on that bus, escorted out of the county after the game, so we stopped in Yeovil for a few, locals were pleased to see us.

Heheh...brilliant day - I'm glad I wasn't driving the coach!

town full of eejits
having been away for a long time i would say that whilst there were a number of firms or crews back in the 80's , they have grown up and are probably in their late 40's early 50's by now and whilst they may turn out for a jolly up with palace , pompey , chelsea for old times sake , i would say that brightons "firm " is all but retired from active duty....what happens in the future remains to be seen .......from what i have seen on my visits ... it is all over.

They even have a sort of truce,at about 1:10 and a wounded one is allowed to leave the arena carried off with some help.

Of course, they're not animals!

Oooh, you are a tool aren't you?

Actually, a decent thread - Brings back a few memories - I ALMOST wanna dust off the Kickers and sun hat and come outa retirement! The rush I got when I thought I was gonna get a tonking in some shit hole up north is better than ANY drug

But alas, I'm a lover not a fighter these days

Hackney? A friend of mine lived in Angel where as if he lived a street away he would have been in Hackney and pay a third less rent at least. I suppose it depends what you look on as a nice area. Dulwich is an area that amazes me, mansions, art gallery, Dulwich school, bistros etc etc but then you have east Dulwich and the contrast is amazing. Peckham is another place that has been done up, when you drive from Peckham to Camberwell the flats are all new now but if you actually walk behind them it is the same old same old.
For me London has gone downhill in every respect, but others must like it. Genuinely though all my friends want to get out as it is just getting worse.

you have friends??

No its all a smokescreen, I'm thinking of starting a support group of sad, lonely and sexless men to talk through their insecurities.
Don't worry I have already reserved you a place.
