This all day long. I can't help but laugh at the desperation of it all! CPFC are now so far ahead of BHAFC both on and off the pitch and deep down most of the sane posters on here know it hence the mocking threads that once used to be so common on NSC about the mighty Eagles have ceased massively in quantity... yet still the odd one tries to steam the one way torrent of dominance and hit back. Obviously in reality the poster in question was scratching his head with viable things he could use against us so you get the usual bitter and totally off the mark comments about Jedinak being a dirty player, Pulis playing hoofball with 6'7 cloggers, our crap support (which was voted best in Prem I might add) Murray being past it and crooked, our best players being sold soon.

Dream on Hillbilly, with Pulis in charge we are going from strength to strength whilst playing great counter attacking pacy football in an electric atmosphere, with owners that have vast £££ to spend on the team and infrastructure whereas you lot seem to be going the other way if your recent transfers and financial losses are anything to go by (COG and Hughes in particular are mid table Championship players at best and your recent season reports suggest your in big trouble financially) Add to that the managers and multiple players employed by you that have been leaving the sinking shop faster than you can say FFS Murray (Poyet, Bridcutt, Oscar, Kuzszack, Upson, Ulloa to name but a few in recent times) Face it, the rivalry is one way in terms of bragging rights and it's gonna be that way for a long, long time.

Most of this post just makes you sound stupid. We have a level 1 Youth academy and youngsters coming through. Premiership quality infrastructure. So how you can say you are so far ahead of us of the pitch is beyond me.

On the pitch you are ahead of us by a long way, but you are playing in the premier League so you should be with all that money.

Or you could just get the work done and then not bother to pay the bill..........

As if!!

As far as I'm aware, Goldberg and Jordan have no stake in the club whatsoever, which makes it somewhat unfair to tar the owners with the same brush. They seem to be meeting all their financial obligations, to the extent that no CPFC staff have faced the disappointment and stress of being made redundant. I'm sure BHAFC can say the same.

I was actually referring to the vast gap in money the 2 clubs have at there disposal. In terms of revenue made in the last 2 years we have made around £150 million from promotion whereas you are losing money every season. Your academy is now in place but it will take many many years to bear fruit and I'd bank my mortgage that we will be matching you with Cat 1 status by this time next year, there is only a few minor things holding it up.

You are ahead of us off the field? Really? You may be in a better place with regards to leauge positions but off the field we are a long way infront and planning for the future. I will have a personal £100 bet with you (proceeds to charity) that we are wayyyyy infront of your tinpot setup in the next 3 years on and off the pitch. It honestly won't even be close.

Lets take a look at how much you are dominating the Albion off the pitch....

If it wasn't for the penalty against Watford your chairman would still be begging fans to turn up in their spare time to help paint the stadium.

I reckon the tenants (crystal Palace fc) will pay for the redevelopment (with the sky money). While the Landlords (Parrish and co) pay nothing.

In a self sustaining fashion you mean? Sounds much like the sadly misguided and unfulfilled hopes of Brighton fans in the days both they and Tony Bloom thought that the club might some day not still be sucking on his teat.

Its true we can't compete with your income. I don't get this your academy won't bear fruit for years. Forster Caskey, March, Dunk, Walton, Ince, are in and around the first team squad. Fenelon, Rae are coming through nicely. I'm sure there is more aswell.

I thought the Academies were reviewed every two years?

Next 3 years? :lolol: Another mug that thinks having a nice stadium guarantees Prem football, oh dear, oh dear!!!

A typically pious, arrogant and dismissive post from a fan of a club whose own fans not so long ago were traipsing around the league with their begging bowl.

New Brighton.

My point is that Palace don't own Selhurst Park. Yet they are paying for it to be redeveloped. It is possible that Palace could pay millions doing it up then Parish and co could sell Palace keeping an upgraded Selhurst Park having paid nothing for it (not saying that would happen).

The players you've mentioned there are hardly Zaha, Moses or Clyne standard quality are they? In fact none have pulled up any trees bar maybe JFC who has the odd England U21 cap.
Yes, it is 2 years but my point was we will be ready in all but name in under a year and the minor issues holding up our approval are sorted out.

You can tell the future then? How do you know they won't go on to be top quality?

How was I being arrogant? Your mate just stated that Palace are way infront of Brighton off the pitch, I was just correcting him. I'd say him making statements like that on a Brighton forum are a little more arrogant... No?

And how do you know they will? My point is that your academy previously has not done much, whereas ours has real success we can point to. You've now changed things around and invested more but IMO it'll take a long time for the positive effects of that to be seen.

At least we used a begging bowl and paid the debts instead of ripping off charities and letting everyone else pay the price for your greed and cheating ways. (Twice)

Then you are ignoring the fact that we have 5 Youngsters in and around our first team squad.

I presume you must have fallen subconscious as you tacked on the paragraph at the end, with the good old 'we'd be so much better than Palace if you disregard what happens in the pitch' chestnut. I mean, how did Palace actually get to the point at which they took the penalty again? Ah yes....

Surely the new academy can't take 'credit' for these budding superstars? If anything, Barber's shoestring budget and Burke's inability to pinpoint talent should be considered the primary catalyst for this massive seachange?
