Its infantile I know , I wish I could turn the other cheek and ignore him.

A charity boxing match for the REMF is the answer. I don't think he'd be up for it though.

Yet more grandstanding , you didnt ' accept my offer ' because I never made one you imbecile , YOU offered to meet me , and soulman , in a conveniently public place of course , as ive said before , PM me with a time and a (quiet) place to meet next time you're over , this really is my last word on the subject.

So, what did you mean about meeting me and 'knocking my words down my throat' bottle boy?
You threaten me, I gladly accept your offer, and thats 'grandstanding'....in your pussy world.
Ill be in Brighton mid Oct...that gives you plenty of time to formulate a more credible excuse...

oh, and I hear that im not the first person you have 'offered to meet'.....so, youre a serial wanker?

Seriously, a charity boxing match between you and bushy would be top class entertainment. How about it?

(Does anyone know a couple of complete pikies we could put on the undercard?)

That's OK, we can do a cage match. No holds barred. Perfect.

This. Well done dave, I assumed you were a bit of a pussy and a total gobshite until you agreed to this no-rules fight. Lovely stuff. Mind you, if that's your choice then I'd assume NSC was unlikely to sponsor it. So as London Irish would say, you'll both have the blood of innocent Palestinians on your hands, as they could be ones to lose out on the charidy money. Poor.

This. I never thought he'd actually agree to a tables, ladders and chairs cage fight, but now he has I don't see why NSC can't sponsor it. I'm particularly looking forward to the betting game, I'm placing 400,000 vcash on Bushy.

A tiny but hugely important percentage with influence far greater than their relative size and America having, many years ago, decided who to back. I don't think it's got too much to do with communism. The fact that their (US and Israel's) respective enemies share the same religion helps too. Sure, the PLO have always been a favoured party of the Left but Syria, Egypt, Jordan have always been either kingdoms or military dictatorships. Blaming it on right-wingers in America is a bit short-sighted too. America has always been right wing. Even the left in the USA is right-wing. It was with JFK, it was with Carter, it was with Clinton and it is with Obama. Even Hillary Clinton has completed her path from radical left to centrist Democrat.

I take on board your comments about the war on terror but in this instance I'm not so sure it is clueless. America instinctively 'trusts' Israel. They distrust Israel's enemies. A lot of Palestinians have also not been too ambivalent in support of Jihadists in the West. What has the likes of Hamas and the PLO done to dispel this perception of being fellow travellers? It's worth noting that other pan-Marxist terrorists such as ETA and the IRA couldn't move quickly enough to disassociate themselves with supporting Islamic terrorists after 9/11.

The problem is very, very complicated for sure and it sure as hell isn't down to America and or Israel or Hamas/PLO alone. Unfortunately, it does tend to polarise views and bring out the worst in Anti-American rabble-rousing from the Left, Anti-muslim paranoia from the right and outright anti-semitism barely disguised as anti-Zionism from the lunatic fringe.

The geopolitical disagreements we have are lengthy no doubt, but no time to thrash them out now - we'll agree to disagree on a lot of that history.

I just want to make it clear that the notion of the "Jewish lobby" being a key factor here is utterly wrong - this religious language is utter crap but if you want to parody it, you can say that if Palestinians have a problem with the USA, it's undoubtedly the Christian lobby which makes up the vast majority of its legislators.

I'm constantly impressed by the number of American jews who make very brave stands in favour of the Palestinians despite the mass media parrotting of Israeli propaganda.

This video here is utterly electrifying:

The arse end of Hangleton
I suspect we have a better chance of a Middle East resolution than an NSC one by the looks of it.

"On the fourth day of Israel's most recent onslaught against Gaza's Palestinian population, President Barack Obama declared, "No country on Earth would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders." In an echo of Israeli officials, he sought to frame Israel's aerial missile strikes against the 360-square kilometer Strip as the just use of armed force against a foreign country. Israel's ability to frame its assault against territory it occupies as a right of self-defense turns international law on its head.
A state cannot simultaneously exercise control over territory it occupies and militarily attack that territory on the claim that it is "foreign" and poses an exogenous national security threat. In doing precisely that, Israel is asserting rights that may be consistent with colonial domination but simply do not exist under international law. "
