I'd rather sell Leo now and have time to replace him with some quality than sell him late August and be rushed into purchasing whoever we can get.

Just back from my hols so haven't kept up to date on all this, has Leo came out and said anything?

All he has been reported as saying is that he would like to play in the Premier League. On here, many have assumed he wants to go now - but nowhere has he actually said this.

Sami wants to meet him for a chat, but both have been on holiday. Leicester appear to have moved on and Southampton is an unconfirmed rumour.

Otherwise it is how much could we get for him and what could we do with the money. Apparently we have turned down £7.5M and Paul Barber has said we do not need to sell anyone. Bugger all in the Argus.

I'd rather not sell him at all or only when a bidder meets our valuation.

Hope we didn't turn down £7.5m. When we're struggling next year and Ulloa has 3 goals in November, while going through a period of poor form, people will say we should have taken the £7.5m and would now bite your hand off for £5m.

just how negative can you be....

how about if he has formed a lethal partnership with CMS and they have 20 goals between them by November ?
You will be bloody glad we didnt take it then...

Not a good strategy if we've only scored 3 goals by November in total, and the Ulloa replacement, and CMS are not getting the goals. We'd be looking at relegation.

I would take £5m now. Actually, I would take £4m now as well

So you'd sell a player we signed for £2.5 million with 3 years left on his contract and who has scored more goals in the last two half seasons in the than any other player for just £1.5 million more?

A player who with a full season behind him could score in excess of 20 goals?

dear oh dear!

Fine....now give me five possible replacements to do a similar job.
To find a big target man out there, decent on the ground and pretty good in the air, who also scores goals regularly, is as rare as rocking horse poo.
We need to hang on to this player above all others.

Our appalling goalscoring record would be a lot worse without Ulloa (if that's possible),unless we change the system,or play more than one player that will score,Lingard showed promise, and we have CMS............IMO we have agreed with the player that if the right offer is made, then he can go.

Even without offers for him, we'd have been looking at new strikers, and the possibility of having to sell Ulloa. With firm offers on the table, there's no way we won't be lining up possible replacements regardless.
