He may be marginally better, but that should be tempered with the fact that Lopez was simply dreadful last year. If you compared Cox with Lopez in his first year, then he wouldn't come close.
it depends whether the club wishes to progress, I guess (which of course they do).
Odubajo looked good in the final, but presumably the scouts will have watched him at 6 to 8 times.

He was only 21 when he was here. You can't judge a player on performances 5 years ago. Rickie Lambert was playing for Bristol Rovers in League 1 at the same age.

Latest says SH hoping to bring in 2 from Liverpool on season loans Andre Wisdom who was on loan at Derby last season and Jack Robinson a left back who was on loan at Blackpool if a deal for Stephen Ward cant be done. If true would be ok but probably somebody speculating because of the Liverpool connection.

Probably referring to financial reasons when he says we don't 'need' to sell. The same was reported prior to the January window in that we were told that we were on target to meet FFP. However, it would've been pointless to hold on to a player that has gone on strike and would probably have a negative effect squad morale. Besides, 3m plus add ons is a very good price for a defensive midfielder.
Particularly one we got for nothing.
