As much as I like Ulloa, anything approaching £7m and we should snap their hands off. I can't see any club in this league turning down that sort of money.

......... I really cannot see Nigel wanting to spend that much on a unproven player in the prem.

Well he's not going to get a proven Prem player for anything like £7m, that's why he has to offer that sort of money to try to get a proven champ player that he thinks will cut it in the prem.

That Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha fella is the new Vincent Tan I reckon - Pearson will be gone by November if Leicester struggle and they will unless they spend all of the £180M they have to spend as they stupidly reported.

I think you're forgetting that Palace bought Gayle last year for £5m and he was unproven in the Championship. Given that we don't need to sell, I really do think anything less than £7m - £8m would be bad business for us. However, as I said in an earlier post I wouldn't sell him if we are serious on going up next year.

Gayle wil be a crucial player for us next season. He has all the attributes, just needs a run in the side IMO

Hi guys,

From a Leicester point of view I think 7m is a bit steep.

I would think a deal of around 5m could be sealed from what I have heard.

Maybe their will be add ons if we stay up etc.

Wish all you the best for next season.

Considering how important he is to us and that 3 years left on his no chance will he go for £5m. £7m would be the minimum

Well known fact we've turned down £5m and £3m bids for Buckley in the past. Only his injury issues is holding him back, if the new training ground helps him overcome that he'll be worth a lot.

When he was flying for us.... Maybe. I wouldn't give you 200k for him presently.

I suspect though that if he was sold for £7m we wouldn't see much of that used to strengthen the team to be honest. Most would go to help reduce our debts and fall in line with FFP. I think we are deluding ourselves if we think if he was sold for that figure we would suddenly go out and spend the same amount. Look what happened when Bridcutt, Barnes, and El-Abd left - only a small amount was spent on Stephens as a permanent addition. If he goes for £7m then I would expect maybe £2m of that to be used for squad strengthening and you have to factor in wages, signing on fees, agents fees etc.

Being keen on seeing our younger players given a chance I'd like to see the following as regular first teamers next season :

Goal - Walton
Defence - Chicksen, Maksimenko, Dunk
Midfield - March, JFC, Toko, Ince

Add in a few our retained experienced players like : Bruno, Greer, Stephens, Crofts, Buckley, Lua Lua, and CMS and I expect to see us going for youth next season. We don't have a history of spending ridiculous sums of money and I think most of us have to accept that the club's clear focus on adhering to FFP will see us promote the younger players and only spend a proportionately small amount this summer (maybe £1-£2m tops).

The board might surprise us, but I'm not holding my breath over a raft of expensive additions coming in.

Yes he is still under contract so we would want money for him, still think he would be an asset to a Championship club, he was superb for us in the promotion season and obviously he sustained a pretty serious injury against you in the Play off semi first leg. Just not sure Pulis sees him as his first choice striker at the minute. But hey I could be way off the mark

We could sell Ulloa for £8m, get Murray back for £1m, everyone's a winner :)

Again this is just my opinion Teddy but I think Murray will be moved on in the summer, no inside knowledge just a hunch

One good thing is Muzza has earned £20k a week for a season which will help towards his private pension stash. Can see him going for £1.5M but taking a 50% pay cut at a Championship club where he'll be more or less guaranteed a place in the starting line up. Bolton ?

Haha I don't think he was earning 20k, I think half of that would be nearer the actual figure, but to be fair his 31 goals in the promotion campaign made him worth his weight in gold in the scheme of things
