(1) 3D badges!! :lolol:

(2) Palace fans told us a while ago just how rich the owners are (very). And you do have someone pumping £120m in, you plank, as you lot love to point out. It's called the Premier League.

(3) You guys spent years taking the piss out of Withdean (even though we knew and accepted it was rubbish), but get precious NOW when we- and the rest of football- point out how crap Selhurst is? Quality.

Respect. You have a point, but none on Saturday. Instead of boasting about your (paid-for) ground which you don't own, how about getting behind the team that plays on it, rather than walking away in droves just to get an early train? The Spurs fans didn't against Southampton.

I think you'll find he quoted 20k and he's well known as one of the biggest spanners on here, who will do anything to get a reaction.

Are you the same Danny Boy as the one on the BBS, who was telling everyone at the weekend how shit Glenn Murray's been playing?

No I use another handle on BBS when I can be bothered to contribute. Which ain't that often tbh. THey are passionate about the red'nblue but often seem to have an irony bypass.

1. We got the same points as you, dullard.

2. She hasn't 'boasted' about our ground.

3. Spurs equalised in the 46th minute. Great comparison.

It would never happen at Selhurst would it?

Well, other than last season when you were chasing promotion - http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=240626

Oh, and this season, when you're playing in the most exciting league in the world (tm) - http://www.cpfc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=250490

Have never left a game at the Amex early, for what it's worth. I was there at the end and I applauded them off: it's not as though the performance was particularly bad. We just failed to hit the target & got caught on the break by a rather uninspiring set of opponents. C'est la vie.

And I'm not sure Palace want to get too clever about owning their ground. For how many years did Uncle Ron have you by the balls??

Surprised there haven't been many Palace fans responding to this thread. I don't think I've banned that many

Clearly they agree, it looks crap.

Yep, because for once they know there is a absolutely nothing to say. No matter how much they might try and 'dress it up' it is an epic, epic fail on all fronts. 'Brilliant White' buildings are all very well in the Greek Islands, where it rains once a year, but under the slate grey SE postcode skies can you imagine what that cladding will look like after a year or two of mist, smog and rain! It'll be streaked mostly grey, with generous patches of green moss.

Up there with Oscar Wilde.

You stay classy, Palace.

AS Oscar once said to a customs man when asked if he had anything to declare, "Only my genius!"

The reply to that is not recorded, but if it had been me on the customs desk it would have ben "THank you sir. Would you mind stepping into that booth and droping your trousers and pants whilst I put on this big rubber glove.."

Anything more to declare, Large?

Not me personally. But he certainly did control things. But he's no longer with us, aahh

Selhurst has been compared on here to Lidl's, Poundland, Billy Smart's Circus and yadda yadda yadda but at least it doesn't look like Toys 'R' Us.
It's also perfectly level.
Unlike that wonky new bowl of yours.

Not really, it shows that basically you realise you're out of your depth on here. Maybe a supply on Johnny's might bring some reality into your life. With something meaty to fill them.

There is a house nearby mine that has a washing machine and a cracked toilet on the front lawn, rubbish always in Lidl bags overflowing over the green bin, about 4 cars in various states of dis-repair spilling onto the street and the resident lets his dog shit all over the green the houses surround and never cleans up. In his filthy, net curtained front window he has cellotaped a moth eaten, threadbare, Palace scarf, all lopsided and grubby. He also has a video shop poster of Scream 2, blue and faded, facing out onto the street in the same window. Just about sums you lot up to me. Zero class.

As for your ground, as my dear departed Nana used to say, "You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ****". I've seen absolute gentlemen who live in the crappiest shanty shacks on the outskirts of Capetown. Take a leaf out of their book and hold yourself with some dignity.
