Derby at home in the same season was something else too, never have I see a player take apart another team at this level pretty single handed-ly. Even when he was on the bench, personally I just never felt we were 'out' of a game. Ok he had games where it didn't happen for him but for those magic 20minute cameo's he is so worth it. Short term deal till the end of the season, basic salary of £2,000 a week + a substantial appearance fee.

I totally agree his talent is what's missing in our team. I've spoken to many fans about this and they have all said they wish he was available.

Wouldnt it take to long to get him match fit now? Wouldnt we be better off with a lesser similar player from a Premier club who cant make it for them like we did some years ago when we signed Denis Mortimer for 1 season and his class showed.

He was just mesmerising to watch.

We would joke about calling out "man on" when he was being closed down. And then we'd realise it was Vicente....... he knew there was a man on, of course!

Wonderful player.

Oh no, just watched that video, now my missus has got about a month of me, mooning round like a love sick teenager, sighing, and staring into space, with a faraway look on my face, not eating,and breaking down intears at the tesco checkout,and other embarrassing places

My signature does tend to go OTT slightly, but it seemed right at the time.
If Derby have ever had a new one torn, that game was it.
