I did write say nothing by that I mean keep quiet ,mumb smile and take or give the money
if the club lose this its going to cost hard cash and a lot of fans trust
we will see

It would take a LOT for fans to lose trust in TB, where as fans trust in Gus disappeared a while ago.

If the club stays quiet, it makes it look like we are just accepting everything that Gus and the LMA are saying and there clearly is something that isnt right with the LMAs statement if it has provoked the club into issuing a counter-statement. The LMA will 90% of the time take the side of the manager and this is happening now, it doesnt make the club the bad guy at all.

The only way we can get rid of Gus would be to negotiate a compensation deal, but that would be incredibly expensive and will almost certainly eat into next seasons budgets and affect our FFP.

heres just a small thought what happens if the club lose this case??

That bridge would be crossed at the time. This is taking ages to prevent the club losing the case.

It would be more beneficial for everyone if you remained on topic by debating any points you disagree with, rather than making petulant insults like that.

I am eagerly anticipating reading why you think making this statement is a shrewd move by the club, because I genuinely can't see it.

It would be beneficial for everyone? Egomania as well as stupidity. Don't hold your breath waiting for that response as there's absolutely no point trying to reasonably argue with someone as obviously bonkers as you when it comes to do with anything to do with the Albion.

"Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club was disappointed and concerned to see comments made by the League Managers' Association in advance of the reconvened disciplinary hearing involving Gus Poyet. The LMA's statement was neither fair nor accurate.

The club will not comment further at this stage because it is important that the disciplinary hearing takes place according to the relevant timescales and procedures. Meantime, the LMA is fully aware that the club has reserved its right to consider further action regarding the LMA's statement once the disciplinary process is complete.

When will it end? I don't understand why the club would release this statement. Surely they could have dealt with this directly with the LMA.

Please can someone tell me why so many people on here are on ths clubs back for releasing a statement saying they consider the lma statement yesterday unfair and reserve the righf to sue. Do you want them to roll over and die? Good on them for having the balls to stand and fight for what they consider correct.
So many people so anti the club. Lma release statement, must be correct, club do, what us wrong with them.

I didn't feel the club statement yesterday was necessary as it didn't tell us anything except Poyet didn't turn up for a meeting, however they can't be shocked that Poyets legal team are going to reply in that instance as it felt derogatory and when i first read it i thought oh dear silly boy, but now i'm back in confused land. If they wanted to say something couldn't they have just said the meeting is arranged with both parties to talk on thursday

At least the club 'appear' confident....sack Gus for £0, then sue the LMA for £10m....get Oscar in on Friday, sign Upson and David on Friday afternoon, all good for monday :)

the above happening odds 4000/1

Dont forget the £2.5m compo we get when Gus is bought by another club.

Club can't win, if they keep quiet and some people on here say, why are they not telling us anything. They release a statement defending the club and some people on here say we should not have......

What has that gained exactly? What was the point?

Who is running communications at the Albion? It's madness. Perhaps they sacked the communications department last week?

What do you think the best thing about the club statement is?

I wonder if any fans are looking at this and then considering how much money they are throwing at the club every month for their season ticket.

What is wrong with this club at the moment? Why on earth do they feel they have to make this statement? Criticising the LMA will almost certainly deter future managers from joining this club. Shambles.

Tony's lawyers will have advised this.
