It's not us is it??

Expect a change to this soon if it is!!!
Nah I would have been beating your door down.

It's Tony Kornheiser's show fairly bog standard ESPN podcast.
I've listened to for a couple of years problem free, and for no reason Ian now won't let it update.

Help needed.

Ian Tunes won't update one particular podcast.
I have to go into the Store, and click onto it from there, at which point it downloads into it's podcast section.

Sorry that's probably doesn't make sense.

Ian automatically updates every other podcast, and I've closed and resubscribed this one many times to no avail.

I've had that problem with some podcasts. I imagine contacting itunes/the podcast provider will sort it, but I usually assume others will, and then a day or wo later it will download properly.

I think I'm getting a little jaded with my current crop of podcasts.
Once I've listened to the best of my regulars, the 'second string' isn't really floating my boat.

So is there anything new or recently discovered over the last few months, you want to champion?

As said 4 months ago, tonight on 5-live will be Tony's Team Talk.
The podcast will be available in the morning, and still very much part of my A-Team.

I need a few new ones too.

I seem to be spoiled for choice on a Monday when I've got new episodes of The Bugle, the News Quiz, Danny Baker and Radio 4's Friday Night Comedy. Then later in the day comes the Guardian's Football Weekly. Next to arrive is The Football Ramble on Tuesday or Wednesday around the same time as nerdy computer games show One Life Left. I have another Football Weekly to look forward to late on Thursday but that's about it. The latter half of my week is too quiet on the podcast front and I really do get through a lot of them thanks to the amount of time spent in my car. I am hungry for MORE

Blimey we could pretty much share headphones.

An ear piece each, how sweet.

I play them through my car stereo so no headphones required.

SORRY

xx
That's ok hun, lol xxx.

As your computer game pod is the only one that doesn't cross over here's the rest of my A-team.

From the BBC, serious, Daily Mayo & Richard Bacon, Desert Island Discs.
BBC, irreverent chat, Tony's Team Talk, also with that and dovetailing nicely with Danny Baker is Frank Skinner on Absolute.
Answer Me This, which like TTT comes out tomorrow, helps Thursday along.
Obviously then there Kermode, everybody listens to the good doctor, right!

Stat Brother thank you very much... I have been listening to The complete guide... completely brilliant look forward to it every Monday.

I enjoy Frank Skinners podcasts too however the bird on it is irritating as f*** and more often or not switch off because of her.

Did you get on with Tim and Tom straight away?

It's one of my favourites, but as said I don't know if that's because I 'know' them.

Do you listen to any other Kevin Smith Smodcasts?
Currently up to date with Jay & Silent Bob Get Old, Hollywood Babble-On (absolute must!) and a couple of others from SModcast.com.

Smodcast is the one constant for me, as I find Mosier really funny and it's so easy to have on in the background. Babble On is probably my favourite after that, I get Jay & SB Get Old every so often, and not much else. Anything else in the View Askewniverse you recommend?

I listened to them from the start, recounting Jay's addiction, and that was pretty good stuff.
I can't really remember why I stopped listening, maybe it understandably lost it's intensity, I do remember getting annoyed by the adverts/product placement.

Loved it from the start, but it really grew on me and now I tell anyone who will listen about it.

Off to New York to at the end of the month, adds to the enjoyment. Just hoping I would bump into them haha.

Yeah Mosier has definitely opened up a lot after the first couple of years. He was a real quiet introvert at the start, not really the kind of guy you would enjoy listening to! Now he is absolutely hilarious.
As for other podcasts, I'll run through a couple of others I listen to which are also found on http://smodcast.com/sir/ where you can also listen on your desktop without needing iTunes:

 1. Fat Man on Batman: KS invites multiple Batman related guests and talks about their time during Batman.
 2. Blow Hard: Malcolm Ingram (sp?) talks about his life, he's occasionaly a complete fu**ing idiot it's just hilarious. Be warned, very detailed and ultra candid.
 3. Highlands: A Peephole: A brief history about KS and his gang growing up in NJ.
 4. Plus One: Jennifer Schwalback (sp?), Smiths's wife gives her side of the story. Very interesting after the first couple of 'shy' episodes.

That's about it for me at the moment, along with the ones you also listen to. There are plenty more that you'll see on that website but I haven't listened to many of the others.
They've also got a 24 hour (I think) talk marathon at the end of Jan which involves all of the main speakers. Definitely worth looking out for in a few weeks.
