I can understand fans moans & groans, but he was on a different planet at times last season. If he plays a few more games then brilliant- if not then good luck to him. I can't get my head around the hate and disrespect posters give him. My intake of 'Harveys' has paid most of his wages anyway

Some people are really stupid. He is the best player to have EVER played for this club and yet there are still people who manage to try and slag him off. It is ridiculous. He was an absolute privilege to watch last season and I just hope he can create more fantastic memories during the time he has here.
As many mention, if he was fully fit all the time he would be playing for a top 6 Prem team but he isn't. While on the playing side he doesn't play as often as he would like, the greater interest he has brought to our club from Spain is very worthwhile. We would not have Bruno nor Lopez if it was not for Vicente. People should just cherish the minutes we do get out of him as the difference he can make is enormous.

I'll look forward to the difference he'll make in the 15 minutes he plays this season then and be very grateful for all his contribution in the 50 game season he's been paid for.

I think it's stupid to feel satisfied by a players that's been paid 12 months wages for a 15 minute appearance.

It's not his fault though, should never have played against Cardiff when the injury was minor. Playing him made it worse and we've now lost half a season from him.

Can't believe some people think that Vicente is trying to spite us by pretending to be injured. He had nearly full seasons out at Valencia, a club he loves so this with us is nothing out of the ordinary.
Even if Vicente does not want to be in England, why would he deliberately waste a year of his closing career and the chance to be a hero, to instead mope around in a medical room lying to professionals.
If such was the case anyway his contract would be terminated and he would be taken to a tribunal!
I for one would rather enjoy the chance to see what is the best player to ever play for us and who knows we may never see anybody better, rather than waste my time pretending I am in some way personally affected by his wages and becoming angry on the behalf of people who have nothing to do with me.
