Friends lets not confuse Christianity with religion . Christianity is not wearing a purple hat and a big cross neckless , or waving a smoking teapot around or a stick with a bent end that would be used better rounding sheep . For me its about accepting Jesus died for our sins to set us free and are resurrected with him spiritually until we will be with him in heaven for eternity . Don't get sucked in with the worldly media saying the church is in crisis because women didn't get the vote to become bishops , vicars etc are man made things and are not mentioned in the bible , whatever worldly vote or campaign that the world comes up with to try and guide us away from the truth will fail , no one can change what God wants in his plans for us , its only us that can ignore it , there are fantastic women councilors and prayer teams and small group hosts within the church so women have a massive role in Gods plan , in the beginning God made Adam to rule the earth then gave him Eve as a loyal companion . There are no rules here just the truth , you can read it for yourselves . Love to you all

Many of the great thinkers have acknowledged the importance of the woman's central role in Christianity. Indeed, Alan Partridge once said: "God made Adam and Eve, he didn't make Adam and Steve."

What exactly does that mean? wasn't/isn't Jesus your God, so your God can/did die or am I missing something?

So, there is no point even talking about it then if God has already got everything planned out.

Living a blameless and decent life isn't good enough for "Christians", if you're not one of them you are damned. Please leave us alone you self righteous, misogynistic fantasists.

Roll on 12.30 Saturday - Dicks - 'Harveys' FFS! Hopefully GOD has planned a 'SPANKING' for Bolton. If not that will be another week I will have to consider if 'HE' is on our side or not. :drink:

Some of us are a bit (i.e. a lot) more accepting than that. We are not all the same.

And the original poster, in talking about God's plans for us, seems to be ignoring the concept of free will, and he also seems to be a creationist, so I would think that I, as a Christian, have very little in common with him. Please don't tar us all with the same brush. It gets a bit wearing.

I don't its your choice, if I want to know about a religion I ask (or wiki it:thumbsup: ) I don't like people preaching.

hey fellow Albion fans there is no need to be offensive and use abusive language is there ! im allowed to air my views the same as the next person , Religion is a man made word its nothing to do with Christianity , i could religiously wash my car every-week , in fact Jesus is quoted as disliking the word " religion " because it separates people , many faiths are religious in like they feel they need to do something or wear something to be qualified , the church of England and Catholic churches are very much like this in fact Catholic churches say the only way to God is through the Pope ie confession , the Pope is also never mentioned in the Bible , Jesus said all we need to do is believe and come as we are with all our baggage , nothing religious there .

I do my worshipping at the Temple of the Amex, at the altar of St Gustavo of Poyet and St Tony of Bloom.

Anything else is un-necessary and I have no wish to be preached at.

If Vicente is back in the stripes this weekend, then I may start to believe a little bit more, until then, huh.
