To be fair there was a fair bit of abuse aimed at him over the seasons. The clapping incident and the handball sending off incident are two the pop into mind.

Yeh but it wasn't the reason he left i'm pretty sure of that. The Brentford thing was a handful of fans and was 2 yrs before he left i think.

itszamora why would you want him back and he can stay at palace

It's just his views. FWIW GM was one of the best hold up type forwards I saw at the Amex last season, he also took all the abuse admirably. It's a yes for me, however if things go wrong for him early doors I can see the crowd getting on his back immediately.

Because I think him and CMS would work very well together. I agree that all the while he stays at Palace he is a ****, but if he were to turn his back on them, admit the error of his ways, beg for forgiveness and return to the promised land, I'll welcome him back.

Worthing
Agent Murray receiving his weekly briefing at the Amex. This week he has been tasked to continue his subterfuge and sow dissent amongst the Palace ranks. His main task is to act morose and miserable and infect other players with this general malaise, this follows hot on the heels of his successful failing to score mission towards the end of last season.

If and it's a big if GM does return am I the only one who doesnt really see Murray playing much with CMS. 4-3-3 with everyone fit would probably mean a front 3 of Murray with Barnes and Buckley on either side.

well i dont want him back so he can do one and i feel you should never go back

Mark, if you had a job liked but another company offered you more money, would you not take it? And lets just say you did but the job was rubbish, with crap staff and a nasty working environment, no chance of progression. You get a call from your old boss saying, fancy your old job back, we kept it open for you cos we knew you'd wanna come home :) you'd be tempted no?
