Would make perfect sense if they go up and we don't. There's no doubt he could do a job in the Premier League, but none of the more established clubs are going to want a player that might only play 15-20 games. Southampton are a big club, well supported, with one of the brightest managerial prospects in the country. And he wouldn't even need to move home. Why wouldn't he go there?

Won't happen. Vicente would be completely wasted at Stains. Their style of Lambert hoofball has nothing in common with Valencia or The Albion. Mind you he's even less likely to opt for West Ham.

I could see Vicente fancying a go in the Prem, but only to a Club where there is a strong Spanish / Latin influence to help him feel the love who are happy for him to have a role in their squad. So I think we have a good chance of keeping him, unless Gus goes.

yeah, total flop, we spent all that time & effort getting him fit again and he's turned out to be useless. Try for George Boyd or someone like that.
