I tried league 1 for Oxford then had to scroll down a way in league 2 to find them. So whilst I am gutted we lost today I take comfort from the fact we are not playing in a 3 sided stadium at the arse end of the football league.

Thanks for coming on and sharing your win with us though

The team that plays in a shitty 3 sided stadium isn't it?

The difference being though is that the fans inside said stadium are geniune fans, unlike the fair weather "I think I'll support brighton now as they have a new stadium, would never have gone to Withdean though with the 6000"

Impossible! Just as likely to be Palace.

Hardly. Many people have a small, unthreatening team they look out for, he's evidently no different. It's usually a non-league team, but to be fair, you're not that far off.

Jealosy, nah! just commenting on the fact that the 6000 odd you used to get at the withdean are the real fans not the 14,000 who have turned up purely for the season one qudos.

It's not impossible. I studied at Brookes. Went to The Manor and have been to The Kassam, as my brother-in-law is a certified Oxford loon.

Favourite game has to be the 4-3 defeat of Rotherham with Omiyimni scoring a curler from the edge of the box.

I was also there to see the very poor return of MOOOODY.

You've not had to endure playing at an athletics stadium with the vast majority of the ground being uncovered. You are not qualified to comment.

Besides which, I am struggling to see why it is embarrassing to have fans flock back when our future was finally secured.

Maybe with a little more interest in Oxford, you will be able to buy the ground off Kassam and build your final stand?

Nope, hardly, don't have to, never have to, as there always enough cloggers willing to bite every time.

Who needs to go to the seaside to go fishing.

....ah well, you know as they say, Oxford is a city full of brains, whilst brighton is a city full of ....well you get the picture....oh and may I thank all the regulars for taking part in this particular fishing trip, very profitable as they always are....:)

Eh? You have an odd definition of successful. A dozen Brighton fans collectively scratching their heads at this noddy little fan with his irrational hatred of a club that doesn't give a toss. Well done. You da man.

There's a touch of irony about an Oxford man being so transparently uneducated.

Ask your average person what Oxford is famous for, & the football team come in around sixteenth place, significantly behind Inspector Morse and posh types playing at racing boats, but just before the well established sport of joyriding on the Blackbird Leys estate.

Mind you, they did have Wang on their shirts once. One of my favourite ever kit sponsors.

How dare you come on here sticking the knife in.Are we not suffering enough when our struggling little team has suffered a defeat.Do we really need you bamboozling us with your superior intellect as you bask in the glory of the mighty oxford city. Well this is the straw that broke the camels back.I`m fuming.....FUMING!!
