I have posted some less than complimentary things about Murray in recent times.

I would like to say my opinion of Glen has gone up considerably in recent weeks.

The way he handled himself at the Amex Stadium was impeccable. Not only, in not reacting to the abuse, not celebrating the goal and having a great game with an excellent goal. He showed hmself to be a model pro.

Now on top of this he has donated £ 50 to the REMF for the 10th anniversary and also donated £ 50 this week to the REMF via Richie Morris's just giving page for the Brighton 2012 Marathon.

All in all I just about forgive you Glen for joining Palace. Just keep a lid on the scoring on 31/1/12.

He is proving ever harder to dislike isn't he?

He'll back here next season when we're Premiership.

Glenn even. Would still like to hear his version, or at least the full and truthful version, of why he left.

Funnily enough I was reading the Bromley Times last night and there was an article about Mr Murray. All he did was praise Palace's youngsters, made no mention of the 3-1 victory or in fact say anything in the slightest bit derogatory about BHA. I have been one of the people (not many of us) who has not criticise him for joining Palace because he was offered a better deal. Frankly in many ways I am happy that he is prospering and and I hope all the posters who have made ridiculous 'Judas' type remarks feel pretty stupid now. All Glenn did was what anybody else would do, he took the best offer and in fact owes us nothing.

Gus DROPPED a CLANGER by not keeping him. How many times in recent games have we hoofed it only for it to come straight back.

And before anyone has a pop Lord Gus does make mistakes occasionally, Baz, Batti and Holroyd for example.

We know why he left.

2 year deal offered by the Albion at X a week

3 year deal offered by Palace at X + 2k a week + signing on fee.

It's his job, what would you do?

He seems like a top bloke and a top player. And all for free! Thanks.
Free? Sounds to me like you pay him an awful lot more than we were prepared to pay him.

For all you know, this may end up being the difference between keeping one of your half decent kids or not, unless of course you do what you always do and pay them money you can't afford too and end up stiffing the St Johns Ambulance instead.

I'm sure he really wanted to stay. He had to think long and hard about joining palace. I don't think he did it out of spite. He went for the money, its his job. No player loves a club. We all like to think they do, unless they are born in that Town and have been at the club from day one. If a premiership club came in for Murray, he would be gone.

I was really angry when Murray left, and I was just as pissed off when he scored but honestly I'm over that Palace match. The match was a complete circus at the end, and the FFS Murray just made light of the whole sitation.

Well done to him for the REMF donations, but I thought he got off quite lightly 10 days ago.

Paying him more than your £3m striker/Old Spanish fella? Do you really think so? (Don't worry about the kids, all signed to 4+ years and if we do sell it will be for top dollar :) )

Credit where credit's due and from someone who been less than complimentary about Murray in the past so well done for posting this. I didn't join in with the w***** chants aimed at him at the Palace game given that he scored over 50 goals for the club including some important ones. If you subject someone to that level of abuse don't be surprised if it backfires and that person has the last laugh.

Its a fair point.

However Glenn was/is an unknown quantity in the Champ whereas CMS has played here before with Peterboro and of course Vicentes pedigree speaks for itself.
