Left after their 3rd and that is the first time I have ever left a game before the final whistle and not fussed by what others say it was a pathetic performance

Yeah fans faults. Nothing to do with the worst performance since gus took charge plus the shit transport facilities midweek and the fact that staying until full time means a 1.30am return to london. But still I guess your shift a macdonalds doesn't start until 2pm. TOOL

I could'nt give a toss what ian hart thinks if I want to leave when we go 3-1 down i'll leave, It's got naff all to do with him or anyone else.

This.

This I'm a 'better fan than you' stuff makes me sick. You have no idea how far people have to travel or get kids home to bed for school in the morning (not aimed at you British Bulldog)

dont matter
I left as soon as murray banged that in, nothing to do with not supporting the team, all to do with, not having to see the palace players & fans celebrating at ft.

Possibly a bit of knee jerk radio but I have to say that this was worse than losing 5 nil at Selhurst. I appreciate some have to go early but the exodus was like a fire drill but done in front of our biggest rivals at our brand new stadium. In the darkest days I'd dreamed about this day, playing Palace in front of a full house and ton king them, well and truly tits up.

I stayed to the end. Which meant I had to put up with idiots looking for a fight on the train and the nonsense going off at Brighton station.

I think a lot of fans in the East Stand left early because they had kids and either wanted to beat the rush to get their kids back home to bed and probably wanted to avoid any afters. This would have happened no matter what the result.

At 3-1 I think everyone had the right to leave.

I've watched the Albion since the 50's and tonight was the first time ever I have left before the final whistle. At 1 - 3 I just could not watch that demolition by that lot anymore. Full credit to them they deserved their victory but it hurts, oh my, it hurts.

Left at 3-1. What's the point in staying to the final whistle when doing so would have meant getting caught up in the crowds after the game.

A big part of it is the travel situation especially for evening games,I just hope people don't start leaving earlier and earlier.

First ever game ive left early but felt I had to as had my little girl with me and wanted to make sure she didnt get caught up if there were any problems at the end so we left on 80 mins. On the train on the way there a dad got kicked by some palace fans and his son was crying at his side apparently so there was no way I was going to risk her seeing anything like that. That may be why a lot of the east went as thats where a lot of the families go. I was gutted to leave and agree you should stay if you can and support the team, but I had to think of my family on this occasion. Couldnt believe it when I heard that it was 3/1. Gutted:(

So are people really saying that Albion fans should have stayed and had it rubbed into our faces even more?

An empty (all bar one end) stadium is all our players deserved tonight.

I left straight after Murray's goal, first time I've ever left any ground early. It was just too much at that point. Didn't particularly want to experience any more Palace joy and just wanted out of there.
