Well happy with mine at arse of the main seagull in the east. 25 yards out.

Got the fabulous view of the West stand to look at also.

The point about standing was made at the presentations that it would only be overlooked at the back of stands so people wanting to stand should buy a seat there. Hence I bought my seat where I did expecting to have nobody standing in front of me. As somebody near me said yesterday it was a better view at Withdean and with people standing it was.

GoldwithFalmer I would suggest that for each person with your attitude there will be at least one with the exact opposite so the club will not lose out provided the results and the performances on the field stay as they have been..

I agree, though maybe i went a touch over board,i do feel that too much poor stewarding in that direction would result in some not wanting to go any more-but as yet no such evidence appears as to suggest this is happening or will happen-i think things will settle down and we will have a great atmosphere and most people will be happy.

Very happy with mine. WSL row s, inline with 6 yard box.
On the standing thing: I think it is normal to stand at an exciting moment or to celebrate but I don't feel the need to stand for certain songs. However if everyone in front of me stand then I am only 5' 2'' so I have to stand to see: this doesn't bother me at all but yesterday I did feel bad because there was an old man behind me who was unable to stand so he couldn't see but me sitting down wouldn't have helped as the people in front were standing. At that moment however there was a corner at the north end so I expect everyone to stand. It was a bit of a dilemma which thankfully I don't think will happen normally as I don't believe he is a STH.
I wouldn't have a problem with the stewards cracking down on standing through most of the game but I don't think people can be expected to sit at moments of excitment (particuarly when it is happening at the other end of the ground)/as the teams come out or the final whistle. Also if they do crack down on it they would have to start from the very fron of the stand as it is no good asking our row to sit when people in front are standing.
I do feel that if you are unable to stand like the gent behind me then it is probably best to get a ticket in the front couple of rows as I would always expect people to sit at certian moments.

I'm west upper, just south of half way line, row v, so a very good high view, the noise is awesome, me and 7 mates have 7 seats in a row next to each other so the company couldnt be better :)

Just not a big fan of the 130 or so steps to get to my seat, the gurkha guide camp half way up the main stairs selling beer out of a backpack seems a good idea. Lol. But was knackered when I got to the concourse, only problem is it must be 200 degrees in there, some mahoosive fans or blowers wouldn't go amiss...

I didn't enjoy the west stand/north stand song. It was sung while we were attacking the south goal, so everyone in the west is standing up and looking away from the action. I enjoy the atmosphere created by the singing, but I'm there to watch a football match. Can we save that chant for when the actions by the north goal?

Like most on here happy with my view but not too happy with people in front jumping up every time we got the ball into the other half. I admit some games are exciting and will get everyone up but why some people have to stand up all the time is beyond me, their own selfishness ruins it for a lot of other people.

As someone else posted, it's only natural to jump up occasionally. Persistent standing should be clamped down on but I can't understand people moaning about other fans leaping up at exciting moments. Either you have a draconian policy and no atmosphere or you allow fans to express themselves. If there's someone overstepping the mark in front of you, probably best just to have a quiet word with them yourself.

Which is exactly my point as we were only 6 rows from the back, suggesting people who buy in the back 6/8 rows or so should expect standing.

Think some people have forgotten what it is like in a real football stadium, people will always stand when the action gets exciting that is just the way it is.
The stand up if you hate Palace song can do one though, it's dull they are not there and gets in the way of the football. Luckily most around me didn't bother standing for it especially it when it started for the 3rd or 4th time

well pleased with mine, in family stand but still plenty of noise, good people around us also

Me too, loved it, really impressed with the atmosphere from the family, being positioned next to the North has really helped. I'm in row P about in line with the pen spot. Very happy.:D

West Stand lower row U the view is brilliant until the game starts and up jump the morons singing 'if you all hate Palace stand up or we're the west stand' If everybody stayed sat down everybody could see every aspect of the game but some chose to stand up. Had I known that these people were going to be in front of me I would have asked for a seat nearer the front; as somebody said yesterday the view at Withdean was better as they weren't sitting in front of us.

Please tell me this is sarcasm yes?

Perhaps those not happy with this situation should write to Richard Hebberd who is in charge of the stadium unfortunately I am not sure what he can do as it is really up to the twats who are doing it to become a little more responsible but I doubt it very much. If he receives enough letters he may try to do something to make them stay seated as it is most annoying and unnecessary as if everybody stayed sitting down everybody can see all that is happening.

Shit you weren't joking were you..LOL !!!

I noticed 2 Fans/Blowers in either corner of the WSU concourse blowing hot air out of them. No puns intended!!!
