Agreed. I think i'm right in saying there were delays getting refreshments at half time which probably explains people being late back to their seats.

I heard that the food was late and all the new staff didn't know what they were doing. The club delayed them getting out on time.

Apparently it was announced that the game had started to them, rather than that the players were coming out

f*** off, I was there for the full 90 minutes. Plenty left their seats everywhere else in the ground too, in fact, probably more 'fans' not in the 1901 left their seats for the bars and were late back than the whole 1901 club put together. Get over it, at football, some people leave their seats before the end of the first half, and then arrive back at their seats after the whistle for the second half, it is not just at the Albion, it's everywhere, and all types of seats too. Just check the size of the queue when you get to the bar after you've left your seat at the whistle, it happens, at every ground in the country.

BTW, there are no prawn sandwiches, only Pies at half time.

The downsize of trying to find 13000 plus new sth's is that you will get a lot of Johnny come lately's and Londoners who will be at the Amex as its too far to travel to Chelsea or Arsenal and the Amex is a lot cheaper. I would hazard a guess of the 17000 at least 5000 have hardly watched a game in the last 10 years but have some folding and its a day out in a nice Stadium. We are no longer the Withdean or Gillingham Warriors, a select band of 4000 die hards. The club has lost its intimacy now and that is a side effect of the situation.

Absolute disgrace on Saturday they disappear 5 mins before half time and dont return until 10 mins into the second half...

Call yourselves fans?

Whats the excuses?

Im sat in West lower and I was watching the football. Why are you moaning about 1901 when you should be watching the football? There's always something/someone to moan about isn't there? We get a shiny new stadium, increased fan attendence and all you can think to post is the corp box.

BRING BACK WITHDEAN!!!

True to an extent but I was very happy to find that the majority - a clear majority - of 1901 members in the BUPA lounge were bona fide Albion fans. And they're not going to be missing games so some rugby fan in a suit can enjoy a day out.

I watched until the end of the first half. Went to bar for my half time beer. My transaction history indicates I was served at 16:01. Drank it super quick, but admitately did miss the start of second half. Sorry about that.

All I am saying is from the East the entire section of the West only had a couple of hundred people sat down at the second half kick off.....so keep your shirt on there is no need to swear....remember its school holidays!!!!!!!!

I dont need a beer at HT I can get one 45 mins later at FT....if I eat just befor KO I dont need food 45 mins later...a quick piss and thats it Im ready for second half

Live and let live. Who gives a flying one because some people can't be arsed to drag themselves from the Bar. They have paid their money, its their free time and the last time I checked its a free country, at the moment at least. Just chill out and enjoy doing what you enjoy doing.
