I think this state of panic buying is a clever bit of marketing by the club.

Maybe. But the club needs to not piss off the natural-born core-support a step too far.

The club needs to remember that the Johnny comes Latelys will also be the Johnny Leave Earlys at the first sign of a downturn in the club's fortunes. And they'll cancel their Direct Debits on the way out.

I agree with you there. Not saying I like the idea of creating a sense of panic, just that it may not be by accident.

Anybody who wants a ticket will be sble to buy one - I would be delighted if they sell out, but I think we are looking at maybe 10-12000. I am a priority 4 (I think), I will be buying a ticket for my son and I. So another 2 can go into the pot ! Remember lots of +3's will take existing STH.

But feel free to panic - the closer to full the better for everybody (and more money to invest in the team)

I am still pretty sure that everyone that wants a ST will get one. If we are capable of selling the amount of season tickets that some people think we are, then we're probably one of the biggest 15 clubs in the country.

Me and my mate could have had 8 and got 5, so another three spare there.
We because of cost went for West upper wings (A section), we looked at both ends and we were the first to buy any of these, so plenty left.

Anyone who's been to a presentation - any indication of what seem to be the most popular and least popular sections of the ground?

To sell the 1901 membership on when there is more demand than supply (imagine if you have a central platinum 1901 ticket right now - reckon you could get thousands) and so that they will still be able to watch the Albion play using one of the season tickets perhaps?

I supopose that is the gamble....if it all goes tits this year and we dont have a brilliant season next, then that could blow up in the faces of the speculators..

Trying to work that one out......4 presentations...40 people at each...max 4 purchases per person.
If every single person bought 4 seats each...thats 640 ( and I find that very hard to believe )
Unless of course certain people have been given " first day priority "...outside of the formal presentations.
It just seems a hell of a lot for 160 people.

People who had brought ten year season tickets at Withdean had their presentations last week, so that could explain the additional sales. A friend of mine attended and purchased his +3 as well, so it does add up

They`ll be plenty to go round but I am glad I got mine sorted today exactly where I wanted to be. Wouldn`t want to wait a couple of weeks thats for sure.
Upper West, central , A few rows back, on an aisle, smashing.
