Under your skin.
I left H block at half time - don't know if I'll be back their at any point this season. It was shocking!

People infront of me: Their's only one Malcom Glazer, one Malcom Glazer
Bunch of 14 year olds behind me: I'm bored, nothing to watch
Front: You dirty Northen Bastards
Behind: Dirty northern bastards, *Very high pitch voice*
Behind: Giggles from his friends,
Front: USA, USA, USA
Behind: Why is nobody singing? (his mate sings) Good old Brighton by the sea.

Considering we are playing in an athletics stadium because an owner/chairman decided he wanted to make some cash out of the club, that is the most idiotic song I have ever heard our fans sing.

Did you say anything ? Did you put anyone straight ? Did you start any of your own chants ?
Better to wait until you get home and whinge about it on the Internet.
You should of stayed 2nd half was much better.

I don't really agree with the booing, but people are entitled to if they want. Try telling the thousands of Chelsea fans who booed their team off after the Sunderland defeat that being 'top of the league' means you can't boo a poor performance. Sometimes the managers and players should be reminded that its the fans that pay their wages, so we are entitled to our opinion.

The booing at half time was pathetic. To be honest I thought the reaction at the end was aimed at the shitehouse ref.

Then again, I was more pissed off about the **** sat behind me in block D who did nothing but whine loudly the whole game and shout abuse at Bridcutt rather than getting behind the team. Seems that as we're top of the league people come along expecting a performance and get on the teams back when we can't break sides down rather than encouraging them. Shameful to see 'fans' remonstrating with Tarrico after full time.

Agreed.

Did you say anything ?
No, I hardly think people would were brain dead enough to start those songs would have listened to my well thought out points of view. I'd have probably been told to f*** off.

Did you put anyone straight ?
Nope, I'm not as tough as you. Sorry. xxx

Did you start any of your own chants ?
No, no I did not. It was a F.A cup 2nd round game against FCUM. It wasn't going to be an electric atmoshpere. H block was half full, it was never going to be good was it?

Better to wait until you get home and whinge about it on the Internet.
Yeah obviously, I mean starting on a bunch of 14 year olds would have been much better! WOW, you really have thought that through, well done you.

You should of stayed 2nd half was much better.
Doubt it, I think another 10 minutes of where I was sitting and I would have topped myself.

I haven"t read all the posts on this thread but i have just read gus moaning about his team being booed at halftime.i didnt boo at half time but i dont blame the fans that did.we played against a team 100 places below us in the league,at home it shouldn"t matter what team we put out we should win.
dont get me wrong im 100% behind gus but he is allowed to criticise the fans but the fans cant criticise the team.
yes we are top of the league but we have played 3 times against non league teams this season & haven"t won once.

Fickle bunch of Cnuts (Merged)

Fed up of reading all the negative siht on here.

No yesterdays result was not ideal but soooooooo what ? you see these type of the results year after year in the FA Cup is it any real supprise.

I hate these games, being on the end of it is embarrasing but we are sitting top of league 1, how many teams below us would have done any better ?

The league is the priority and so far we have done pretty bloody well, so if you want to boo :tosser: and you truly want to come on here and slate Poyet then go get your head tested and fcuk yourself up the arse at the same time.

FICKLE FICKLE PRICKS make me sick

You know you don't have to applude if your not happy with the game but that does not mean you need to boo, why not walk out and say nothing ? there's a thought.

Serious point about the boo boys

While I don't think for a second that Gus would take the abuse of a few idiots personally, it's important the rest of the fans speak up to nip this negativity in the bud. What he may get fed up with is a crowd which doesn't seem to be able to appreciate the team's attempt to play to Premier League 'pass and move' principles.

Quite a few people around me were moaning yesterday about the team playing the ball about at the back - have they never seen clubs at the top level? If the vocal minority keep on like this, who could blame Poyet for deciding that he may as well go somewhere that shares his vision for a successful, attractive side - even if it means we have the occasional dodgy game as the team grows.

Give it a rest muppets FFS

We get the message, Booing = bad fan. Why the over reaction and 37 threads about it. It's not like nobody has ever booed at a football match before, I even reckon Gus may have heard it before.

Very much agree. The muppet next to me says 'being top of the league is irrelevant if we play boring football'

I am looking forward to my new season ticket next year when I will be sitting next to a different muppet who prefers long ball. Regarding the boo boys?

DON'T LISTEN GUS!!! THEY'RE IDIOTS!!

He did take it personally though! Hence his hissy fit in the interview. If you went to any top premiership game, there will be boo boys. They are everywhere, its up to other fans to raise their voices and sing for the team, which didn't happen yesterday and therefore the boo boys got the message through.

Actually until recently they haven't been "everywhere". At clubs like Liverpool, for example, the fans had always shown great patience in appreciation that it takes time to achieve a good team and that you can't win them all. Was at Anfield several times last season and, even with the team doing so badly, it was noticeable that their fans still didn't get on the players backs but just fell silent instead. They may have grumbled to a mate but didn't feel the need to shout abuse. Unfortunately, as a good piece in the Guardian points out today, even there some fans have now decided that they have to have a go at Hodgson this season regardless..

.. as for "boring football". Since when has passing the ball about been boring? Gareth Southgate said on ITV last night that Brighton "play some fabulous football" and, seeing as he's only likely to have seen that game of ours all season, he obviously saw something rather different to the idiots who would still find a reason to slag the team off if we were in a Champions League Final.

Completely agree with you here mate, such a lot of crap on here, we are 4 points clear in the league, and yet people act like we are where we were last year. I know yesterday was pretty poor, but I would rather get promoted then go to a big side and play them in the FA cup, I for one don't really want to be visiting crap grounds next year like Spotland, Victoria Park etc, but want to be going to good grounds consistently. Couldn't agree with Gus anymore about the fans.
