If there is any trouble we all know exactly where it will be starting, and in the process you will be doing yourselves so much good won't you?! Now why don't you run along and compare caravans with a nice friendly palace fan, you appear to be of a similar mentality. Many years ago, yes we, like so many clubs at the time, did have some spats with Palace amongst others. However those days are long gone and we've never had any problems at Withdean as the vast majority of fans have got sick of mindless violence. Can't speak for your team as let's face it, who gives a toss about your tiny team ? Great novelty value when you started up but that's long worn off and sorry but you're just another non league non entity who are trying to use this game to make yourselves seem relevant.

That's the crux of the matter. They're treating us differently, presumably because we're FC United of Manchester.

As much as I've tried to get on with them today on their forum, things like this just seem some of them have a slightly inflated ego? It's like they think that the Albion are running scared of them and their hordes as they overpower our fans with their intense atmosphere and, god forbid, help FCUM through to Round 3...

Well, if the truth be told, I watched that game in a pub in Southampton, so I wasn't at the ground to hit anyone.

Obviously I threw a bar stool at the TV, glassed the barman, and burnt the pub down. I regret it now of course, but hey - everyone is like that when a late goal goes in aren't they?

Sad to say the FCUM are beginning to look like utter tools on this thread now. i admire the fact they got off their arses and formed a club of their own that reflects their values. However at the Albion the fans took a stand and saved their club with a fight that lasted for over a decade, any comparisons are just risible.

And whilst I understand them being miffed about missing out on the 15% it's only a couple of hundred seats at a shit ground it's hardly worth all this screaming and shouting, it's getting a tad tedious. FCUM are not going to bring thousands of their own supporters, because they don't have them. They may have however drag out some MUFC fans, who they really should have no time for as they represent everything that FUMC is meant to stand against, and if they miss out on a ticket who f**king cares? Not me for one.

I've tried to get on with the concept of FC United, and the fact that they did achieve setting up a club with pretty magnanimous aims. But it's becoming hard work.

The point is - this whole concept and attitude has little to do with being non-league or so far down the football pyramid. The fact that seems to be forgotten is that they are, purely and simply, Manchester United fans, and they have neglected to jettison their arrogance and contempt for other clubs - believing themselves superior on the back of their noble inferior status.

Would I be wrong in thinking that the home club may offer an initial allocation i.e. 10% and be allowed to hold back the other 5% until they've got a better idea of the demand. they still have the 5% for away fans until demand dictates that they do or don't need to offer it.

also , the away club have to pay the home club for all the ticket allocation IN ADVANCE - so it might be in FCMU advantage that we are only offereing 10% - if indeed we are. I seem to recall that this has caused us a few problems in the past.
