I was brought up a catholic, but like so many do not attend church now. Do I believe, yes to a degree.

Whether conditioning has brought that belief in me, or down to my own self believing I'm not so sure.

I think even if I said there is no God, I would be in fear of being struck down.

I don't believe in the supernatural, even if I did I don't see how, if you study the history of religous and spiritual beliefs, you can claim the absolute truth of any one dogma anyway.

I go to church every other saturday and the odd Tuesday, i do lose faith every January though. Oh and off to a new church in August

Was brought up as a Catholic,went to church until i was 15 though i would have stopped a lot earlier if my parents hadn`t insisted. Went to Catholic school, whenever i go to weddings/funerals/christenings i feel like a hypocrite and don`t want to be there.

Whenever I go to church (Christenings, weddings etc.) I find myself cringing at some the stuff they come out with, it just seems like such an odd thing for people to be following in the 21st century.

Never mind being an atheist in the UK, try being one in the States – it’s bloody hard work! Although, shock horror, recent polls show that the number of non-believers / undecided is slowly increasing.

I always find this an odd/difficult question to answer.
I don't believe any God, supreme being, higher purpose, etc.

But I feel there is something worthy in the template for being a better person.

I have the main religions in a ven diagram, the bit that they all overlap on being the person we should aspire to be.
Sadly the rest is all such bollox the big message gets lost in translation.

Plus I've always been respectful of religion (except for my previous sentence )
