The Fans phone in, has it passed it's sell by date?

One can't keep harking after the good old days but it must be time that the BBC scrapped the phone in. Boring presenters who sound like they would be more at home handing out cakes at the village fete, virtually no input from those who have attended the game, constant travel updates ect, have destroyed what was once an amusing and entertaining part of the long drive home. Ian and Andrew (The Housewives Favorite) you are both sorley missed.

I have nothing against Mike Ward, who is a decent fellow, or any of the other presenters but they are just not right for this show. Paul Miller would be an improvement but might be considered too much of a Football Hooligan.

2) Too many texts read out...have one slot towards the end of the show.
3) Have a set time every week for the full time scores...they can be 5.10...5.25...or not at all....suggest they are read out asap...i.e just after 5.00.
4) Start with match reports..the Albion, Crawley and Eastbourne Boro..thats it ...no-one else...make sure these are finished by 5.15.
5) Set an agenda every week at the start of the show so people are not just ringing -in to review the game.
6) This is an hour long show and sometimes you get 3 -4 callers in total.
7) Harty was very good in ensuring that it didn't become the Johnny Byrne appreciation society or the Mike Ward ' voice of sanity ' hour.
8) You need controversy and forthright views. Not everyone is a passenger on the ' Gus Love Bus '

start the phone in at 5.15pm until 6.30pm, before hand read the other results and non league round up plus reports on Lewes, Crawley and Eastbourne. This would give more people a chance to phone but firstly the presenters need to be changed.

That's correct. Up until that incident we had a brilliant show. Hawsay was a great commentator along with Harty for the phone in. So from me too, thanks to the idiots for complaining.
