He'll be managing Greece in a few years time, while we will be parading the Champions League trophy from Dukes Mound to Fatboy Slim's gaff.
So are you more annoyed that he won't sign a contract and is apparently Poyeting himself at other clubs, or are you more annoyed that he's a bit shit and not good enough for our club? It's not about where we are in the league. I'm 53 years old and this is the greatest time alive, to be an Albion fan. This is about attitude, disrespect for you employers and disrespect for the man. whom gave you the platform on which to perform... I like RDZ, but he is not bigger than the club.....and he is not above question. I happy to think he is a bit of a one trick pony. And although that trick was very entertaining, while it lasted. It gets found out and you have to evolve. And I'm not seeing that. All I'm seeing is deflection of blame and a bit of a sulking brat tbh.......all very Poyet ish.
On Sky Sports News just now - Carragher and panel all rather quickly concluded that his quotes yesterday was part of RDZ plan to pave the way for leaving in the summer (and then went back to fretting about the title and Klopp etc)Different though isn't it? Traditional media is much less likely to be bothered with, or have the time for, analysing his every word.
It's social media where clumsy soundbites generate the real noise. And that does create an atmosphere around a club, it will seep through to the staff and players, it does influence talk on the terraces at games etc.
If he is like that in the dressing room, we’re going to get massacred.
Fortunately, he is probably the opposite.

That sounds like a sulk tbh because we didn’t progress further than the first knockout match in the Europa and are a very lowly 9th in the EPL.It's not about where we are in the league. If he spent as much time questioning and admitting his own failings and mistakes as he does criticising and whinging about injuries, lack of backing and ambition from his employers he’d be getting a bit more understanding for his downbeat demeanour imo. That sounds like a sulk tbh because we didn’t progress further than the first knockout match in the Europa and are a very lowly 9th in the EPL.
It is NOT a one-way engagement here - RDZ has given us a lot too. Frankly, if I was RDZ I’d have pulled my hair out by now, in frustration at repetitive stupid questions from the press, failed transfer acquisitions and fans expecting a repeat of last season notwithstanding Europa competition and at least 3 times the number of key player injuries.
Yeah!I’d like him to f*** off now tbh, I sincerely hope he fails miserably wherever he ends up.
Why the hate? For RDZ wanting the Albion to have as much ambition as he has?I’d like him to f*** off now tbh, I sincerely hope he fails miserably wherever he ends up.
Which is the expectation for probably 16 or 17 other clubs in the PLA half decent performance in defeat is the about the best we can expect in this one...
Indeed. It boils down to this.... TB needs to spend big, much bigger than before, or RDZ will consider the project as limited in scope.... he will therefore be looking at offers.... though I suspect his agent has already teased soft offers out from various potential employers.
Not a fair comparison. Sure, if we had 50k crowds, history of winning stuff, paying players and managers obscene money then our “ambition” might stand a chance of matching his. Why? For wanting the Albion to have as much ambition as he has?
Precisely. Why the hate? For RDZ wanting the Albion to have as much ambition as he has?
This.Really doesn’t bother me…….he’s being honest (if he said nothing the levels of speculation would be the same) and TB/PB are more than capable of dealing with it and the outcome will be what it will be. End of season meeting, either a new contract or a parting of the ways and a replacement will be in quickly…….either way we’ll be in good shape for next season, particularly with Tony’s big pile of chips compared to many other clubs. Just can’t get worked up about it, or draw any real conclusions from the comments of a guy who clearly hates press conferences and the repeated inane questions and is frustrated that he has done as well as he wanted to this season, partly down to him and partly down to others
Ddid you watch the press conference?Indeed.
It seems some on here would prefer a manager with no ambition, quite content for us to muddle along in mid table mediocrity, never asking a question about the club's ambition.
Roy Hodgson, perhaps.
