Almost like trying to replace Alexis and Caicedo on the cheap wasn’t the greatest idea
So you think the club should change the way it operates? I think it's been working well. Despite all the injuries, we're not far off where we were last year. A bit of composure in front of goal against Wet Sham and we'd be in 6th.

I understood this to be the one signing outside our usual model because RDZ wanted him? If so, no wonder RDZ is unimpressed he doesn’t seem to have the attitude and commitment that RDZ expected of him. I would not want to be Dahoud if he doesn’t knuckle down.

Not at all, but I think not paying out for one first team ready DM this summer has cost us on more than one occasion, and I don’t think I’m alone in that belief.

This is why RDZ is saying we need 3/4 signings. It’s not just a case of bodies in its improving the quality. Dahoud was a fee signing, he’s clearly not at the level and needs moved on. Baleba isn’t at the level either; though will get there, and so again it leaves us too short.

Yep, we have fallen apart this season due to lack of investment. Doomed are we :lolol:

As you might have gathered, I am not one who holds your beliefs

It's a strange one, he clearly is a very capable player, but has looked uncertain of himself. Fingers crossed he takes the advice and pulls it together.

Nowhere near up to it unfortunately. Seemed like a passenger out there.
A few nice touches but that's not enough.

I’d agree with this. He’s not settled in well and clearly struggled to get up to the speed of the PL, looked better in the EL but still not good enough atm. On a 4 year contract so expect him to come good in the end - a very classy player on paper, with RDZ hopefully that can translate onto the pitch.

I feel for him a bit, he’s clearly finding things a bit difficult. I hope he manages to take the coaching onboard, improve and we get to see the best of him.

Not having better players obviously costs us. But what better player could we have bought, and at what price?

I don’t have access to the club’s scouting network to tell you. But good to see we’re back at the “But who would you replace Potter with, eh? Eh?” level of debate.

When your argument is 'we should buy better players' I'm not sure what level of debate you're hoping for

Very, very strong words from RDZ. Don't be surprised to see him go this window.

There was a reason Borussia Dortmund let him go on a free, I believe RDZ is currently seeing that as are we and is trying to stimulate him to play better.

I've got confidence that he'll contributions will be as magnificent as his hair! Hopefully he'll knuckle down and come good for the end of the season.
